It compares the forecast with your estimated arrival time and gives you one clear recommendation—rain ahead, rain unlikely, or wait before leaving. AROUND ME Start a nearby weather watch without choosing a destination. Select a 1, 3, 5, 10, or 20 km radius and see approximate clear, possible-rain, likely-rain, and heavy-rain areas around your live position. Motion Weather Plus can describe the approximate distance and direction of nearby rain and keep checking while the watch is active. Motion Weather Plus keeps checking the remaining route while your chosen navigation app is visible and can send a local rain-ahead warning if conditions change. A Live Activity keeps the current recommendation and an End control available on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. WORKS WITH MAPS Open the destination in Apple Maps or Google Maps. You can also share a place from Apple Maps to Motion Weather Plus for a quick route-weather check. 14 LANGUAGES Use Motion Weather Plus in Arabic, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, or Turkish. Route results, Nearby Watch, Ride Watch, alerts, notifications, weather details, the Share extension, and Live Activities follow your selected system language. MULTIPLE WEATHER SOURCES Motion Weather combines Apple Weather on iPhone with applicable regional public weather evidence. Taiwan uses CWA radar; Germany uses DWD; the United States uses NWS; North American radar covers supported U.S. and Canadian locations; and MET Norway provides worldwide forecasts. Availability varies by place, time, and provider. Weather Details shows which sources answered each check. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Motion Weather Plus has no advertising, social features, or third-party analytics. Location is used only for requested route-weather features and an active watch session you explicitly start. Purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Location is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. Forecasts and route recommendations are estimates and can change quickly. Do not interact with the app while riding or driving. Motion Weather Plus does not replace official weather warnings, traffic rules, or safe judgment.
