Still some bugs
I use the “ session time” indicator. I try to changes the starting point to 9:30am and it just doesn’t work. The default time it shows is 11am-2pm… I try to switch it to 9:30am-4pm EST and it just doesn’t work.

limited for no obvious reason
app is VERY bare bones compared to desktop variant. Need Exit strategies? Want to sync desktop layout with Mac OS version? Not possible.
Major bug issue
App is goated and better than most trading app on phone BUT if you register and put « remember me » or « auto connect » something like that the next time you launch the app after closing it completely you get stuck with the motivewave logo non stop and nothing to do but delete and download again. Which mean the whole setup you took time to build back is gone. Very annoying. Also need to work a bit more on the orders on chart, the drag and drop must be cleaner and simple, here if you click you can double your orders and mess up very fast. Other than that, the work on this app is insane, well done !

So Much Potential
I’ve been a MotiveWave customer for awhile now. I love their desktop interface and trading platform, and will continue to use it. However, I am someone who is always on the go and trades futures on mobile apps sometimes. Decided to give MotiveWave’s mobile app a try about 6 months ago. I will say it is the most complete platform for futures, with tools that most other mobile platforms do not have capabilities for, such as a multitude of customizable studies that are very similar to the desktop version, so bravo for that. However, there are some serious bugs and QOL things that need to be addressed (such as chart trading only allowing 1 lot orders, no bracket orders upon entry, studies sometimes deleting themselves off of main chart during rollover, no customizable candlestick or background colors, entry line disappearing during opening and closing of app, cross trading micros is extremely clunky due to chart trading limited to 1 lot, drawings not deleting or registering being clicked on, etc.) I think if they fix some of the execution limitations with chart trading, this app has serious potential to be the best mobile futures trading platform. I will continue to use it, but I really hope this stuff gets fixed and they put some love into this app! The updates are put out very infrequently and claim bug fixes most of the time but the stuff mentioned continues to be an issue.

Great Piece of Software
Super nice written software - user interface is super clear, clean, and minimal. I love it. Also the different connection types CQG,Rithmic etc running smooth . Perfect addition to the MW desktop software and great great great great work. Enjoy trading the professional way on the go . Keep it running !

Not worth it
Keeps crushing, you would be logged in but no data can be accessed aside from the dom. Everything else just becomes a blank screen, re-installed it, and after couple hours it crashed again. Terrible app
Worst trading app ever
Zero support. They will never respond to any email you send them. iPad app freezes and never loads. Try restarting the app and freezes on the launch screen. Complete trash. Motivewave should be ashamed to release garbage like this.
App won’t load
App won’t load and no support
Be Careful
It’s a good app, but I highly recommend caution when using it. Crosstrade doesn’t function the same way as on a desktop, IE it doesn’t work when chart trading, only from the DOM. So that’s kind of a big deal.
Additionally, there’s no way to use exit strategies upon entering a position. You’d need to manually enter an OCO after.
This is all fine and not a very big deal provided you’re trading small and in a spot where potentially losing the trade over timing on these isn’t a big deal. I’d use this more for managing something you where already in over anything else.

Best Mobile Trading App while it works
I am using both an iPhone 15 Max and a 13 max with enough free space for any app; I constantly get the black screen of death or after logging out or closing the app having made settings to the DOM and very minimal chart studies of only one imprint after logging out and trying to log back in it is a black screen where I have to delete and reinstall the app and do everything over again it is beyond annoying. This has been going on for years. When it does work though it is simply the best trading mobile app available.

It works
It works and it does what it should do.
App needs more work and functionality.
There’s absolutely no way to change the candle colors. Many experienced traders enjoy changing the colors of their candles. Also, when it comes to the price line, there is only a price line no bar countdown.(can’t see how many seconds are left on a 1 minute candle) Lastly, after placing 2 long positions, my orders disappeared and I had to look on trading view to see my orders.
Over all, they tried with this app but not enough. I recommend CQG mobile if anything. I wouldn’t recommend using this mobile app. Very unorganized, and inconvenient to use

Good App — Still Needs A Little Bit Of Work
Good app, the basics and fundamentals are all there, just needs some fine tuning touches so everything works the way it’s supposed to.

Interactive brokers
Still no connection to interactive brokers. Love the MotiveWave desktop version though. Just wish we could get a connection to IB for the app as well.
Love
I hope copy trade will come out with next update.
Un-useable
Was thoroughly enjoying the app, used it daily, then it completely froze up on multiple occasions, during multiple trades. I do not recommend this app until the Dev’s remedy the issues.
Freezes/ black out
I love motive wave but the app tends to freeze , lag or even black out , for example I will have open positions while I am out , I try to login and the app is either not opening or showing me a black screen. Hopefully they can fix this issue soon. This issue has gotten me in avoidable drawdown.
Needs work
The app is great to have for when I'm on the go but I often experience freezing where the charts stop responding to touch. It's also frustrating that the mobile version doesn't have all the same indicators as the desktop version. I'm trying to replicate my charts on my iPad but I can't because the indicators I use aren't all there. The app is close but needs work.
