Keeping Up to Date
I was introduced to Formula One racing in the mid-1960’s and Jimmy Clark was my absolute hero over hockey and football players (I’m Canadian). I’ve returned to F1 in my 70’s and MotorSport magazine has brought me up to speed with the present and allowed flash backs to the times that were special.
The best!
Motor Sport magazine has been, and is, the best motor sport publication on earth. Both print and what is offered digitally.
Hopefully many more years to come.

Simply the Best
I bought my first copy of MotorSport and took it on a school trip in July 1967. The cover photo was Jim Clark preparing to board the Lotus 49 at Zandvoort to practice for the Dutch Grand Prix, taken from the roof of the pits before he went on to score the first victory for the Cosworth DFV. It also covered Gurney/Foyt winning Le Mans and Dan taking the Eagle to a magnificent victory at Spa. Has there ever been a more iconic issue? I still have that magazine, it lit my motor racing fire which still burns. It’s still the most honest and trustworthy periodical today, I wouldn’t be without it.

App works fine when online. Offline not so much
Had downloaded a few magazines for a trip. Went offline, tried to open the magazines but they wouldn't open - despite being marked as successfully downloaded.
I also can't delete the downloaded magazines. Clicking on the delete bin does nothing.
What a complete mess this app is.
Really not impressed.
Surely this is basic functionality for a magazine app?
Poor experience and I won't be resubscribing.

Basics are poor though has good features
Accessing the magazine on an iPad is a frustrating user experience. Initial download is rapid but excludes all images including ads. To actually download the magazine every page must be viewed one at a time. Therefore it typically takes five minutes to download. Very frustrating if you want to download the go offline to read on train or plane. Could do much better with some proper UX thought.

My motorsports bible
Motor Sport is a wonderful amalgam of current motorsports commentary and celebration of what racing once was. As a kid who grew up pressed against the fences at Riverside, Willow, and Ontario and subsequently lived in 1970s Germany, Motor Sport takes me back to some of the grandest times of my life. As an avid follower of today’s F1, I look forward to latest updates about the sport, especially as F1 faces exciting transitions in the coming years. Carry on!

More work needed on the website!
Website still very ‘clunky’ not allowing me to login to read archive articles.
Now 50 years
As a senior motor sport magazine reader for over 50 years, I now find your first class reporting on everything F1 has no equal.

Articles seem to be contracted
Whilst the APP as some superb content some of it seems to have been cut short from what appears in the magazine. I have requested information about this from Motor Sport but nothing as been forthcoming.
Reading downloaded magazine
I like to download and read on flights but the app doesn’t display pictures when offline.
I’m back for another ‘fix.’
I have occasionally stopped reading Motor Sport for a short while, simply because I was reading too many magazines, too many books, never mind the multitude of online offerings.
However, there’s something about Motor Sport that draws me back. It’s the only source of respected experts delving into fascinating aspects of my favorite sport, in the past and today.
Now I read the magazine again every month, and I’ve just downloaded the app. There in no cure, I’m hooked!

Constant quality writing.
Motor Sport was one of my earliest magazines in the 60s and I’m still reading it. Boddy and Jenks were my pages to turn to and the writers today still keep the high quality of articles.
Awesome!
Best motor sport magazine ever!

Stop limiting articles and find a better way to raise revenues. Your app isn’t worth the money
Great read
I’ve been reading this publication since I was a teenager some fifty years ago, immediately fell in love with it and have been ever since. My dad was the subscriber and pretty much had to wrestle it from me. It’s got to be the only magazine in the world that’s so enjoyable, I actually read all of the advertising too 😁 Conor Kaby New Bern , NC, USA

It’s rubbish. Magazine does not download.

Frustration….
So you are a Motorsport subscriber and you get an email about some new article or even an old article….
So if you click on the email link it, doesn’t allow you to read the article, or you click on the app…..and the article isn’t there either…so you try to search for the article with the search function and still the article doesn’t appear even if you type in the article title from the email you received.
Motorsport is a good magazine and the website has lots of good content and the archive too…..but the app, emails and website obviously do not speak to each other to allow a nice use experience.
It is probably quite a simple piece of coding to sort it out so why don’t they do it…..indifference, or just a deliberate attempt to annoy a long term reader and subscriber….

Hepburn
My only request is to improve offline performance. I’m regularly on the overnight sailing from Hull/Rotterdam and P&O’s at sea Internet service is poor, and so I download the things I wish to read before sailing. Sadly in the case of Motorsport, a ‘downloaded’ magazine is usually missing articles, pages and many images when read offline.
Having read the title continuously for ca. 50 years, this issue is not going to cost you a subscriber, but I know it could be improved.
Best,
