Misrepresented functions & capabilities
Douglas misrepresented the functionalities and capabilities of his app motor code. Key features he claimed-such as parts integration, parts scanning and recognition via camera, car service entry, tagging links to spares in images-are entirely absent. Not to mention the bugs which added to the wasted time as the app crashes or freezes. Not to mention how boring and ended this app is with its limited features. Instagram is by far better then motor code just generate a QR code or #tag.

Misled features missing
Some features I was told about are not available. You unable to add parts to your profile, let alone tag accessories or add them. There is no section for mechanics or custom shops inputting your parts, service data. I was misled by Douglas

Douglas the owner of the mobile app which my company had a unfortunate encounter with, who regrettably, provided misleading information about the features and functions of their product, motor code. This experience has left my company disappointed and frustrated.
Despite assurances of certain capabilities, the mobile app fell short of expectations, and it became apparent that the owner had misrepresented it’s functionalities. Such deceptive practices not only impacted our company but also the credibility of the individual and the integrity of the company they represent.
It is crucial for consumers to receive accurate information to make informed decisions, and instances like this undermine trust in both the product and the associated brand.

Waste of Valuable Time
Douglas lied to our company about this app, it’s been nothing but a waste of time and resources. The features mentioned to us are not there. The features available are not for enthusiasts. The app crashed several times at key moments which resulted in having to redo time consuming tasks.
The user base isn’t what he mentioned to us either. I’m disappointed haven given my company time to use this app.

Waste of TIME
Gave Douglas my ear at the show, he told me about an app but it doesn’t seem to be this one. My car already tells me when it needs a service, my car even tells me when my tire pressure is low, why is this even a feature. This app has wasted my time, it’s also got bugs on ever corner. I’m gonna stick with Instagram. Never again, it’s one of those apps that you’ll never use.

BEST AUTO ENTHUSIAST APP OUT THERE!
This app has a lot of depth, I’m excited to see how it evolves over time. So far, the presentation and service delivery has been good. This startup is going against giants and hatters, they have my support.
Gimmick and time-waster
If you own an expensive car and the owners of the motor code, Malcolm and Douglas, run into you, be prepared to be solicited for financial support for the app. Their evaluation of the app is in the billions; this is a major red flag. The app itself has no major market purpose. The second red flag was the dishonesty regarding the app’s capabilities and functions. In my personal opinion, it’s a time-waster and a gimmick.

Waste Of Time
Douglas the foreigner, who says he is the owner of this app did us dirty. He LIED to our faces about a lot of feature’s. My boys and I wasted our precious time setting up! This app is pointless and was overhyped to us. If y’all want the QR code via app “ CAR MEETS “ is 1000 X better and it’s 100% American! Or link your instagram account to a QR code. Don’t waste your time on motor code, y’all never get your time back!!

Much needed app
I think this app is going to revolutionize the car scene and make going to car shows a completely different experience. If someone has a Motorcode on their car, I can scan it and figure out where they got their wheels instead of tracking down the owner to ask them I love the app. I love what they’re doing, I wouldn’t be surprised if every major car show required motor codes in the future
