It is made for anyone wether your a card nerd or just a beginner. It is very fun and interesting for everyone. The AI scanner is very accurate and I have only been playing it for about a day and I would rate this any EASY 5 STARS any day. It’s original and I would HIGHLY recommend it!
This game makes seeing any random car a blast
I’ve always been a big fan of spotting and learning about cars and this game is incredible for not only keeping track but making finding new cars, cool or common, a boatload of fun. Great stuff team
Cool app
The AI they use to figure out the car or truck type is accurate enough in most cases. Every now and then it would get the car brand and model wayyyyy wrong but over all it’s mostly accurate. (Keeps confusing Mustang dark horse for the Mustang GTD, thought an eco boost Mustang was some sort of Mercedes) to get rid of that problem make sure to take really good pictures or the AI will get tripped up.

MotorDex is exactly what I’ve been looking for
I’ve always loved going to shows and spotting awesome cars but MotorDex brings my hobby to another level. Gamifying this experience has been an awesome daily activity with my friends.
Frame
I wish the picture frame when your scanning the car could be a little bit taller so when your uploading an old photo you dont have to choose what part of the car you are putting in.
Limited fun
I love the idea of this app but a monthly subscription for this app (or 30€ lifetime) is not worth it in my option. 10-15€ lifetime would be the absolute most I would pay.
Also it does not recognize German branded vehicles that well. I know, the difference between the Audis A S and RS ist that much but editing a scan would be handy.

Very very cool
Very good game but would be better if there was a shop maybe or something where you could drive your cars around furthermore if you just take a photo of a picture of a car and not in real life it works obviously I deleted it as it is not in the spirit of the game try and fix this
Good app, but misleading
I think it’s a good app and of course they need some stream of income to not only keep it up on the App Store but use the ai detection as well, but I think it’s somewhat scummy they don’t tell users that they’re basically on a free trial until they hit 100, and 100 doesn’t take long to hit. I was having fun, spotting cars I’d see at shows and in the wild and suddenly I had to pony up either $3 a month or $25 forever. While not huge sums of money it’s (in my opinion) asking too much from people for a car spotting game and not a good practice to suddenly state that users have to pay once they hit a certain number. As stated previously, these apps understandably need to make money to continue operating, but there are different and better ways to make it. I’m sure there’s a good bit of people who’d be fine with donating money, or locking additional features behind a paywall, but the fact that it’s basically unplayable past 100 cars (unless you delete cars you’ve spotted, but what’s the point of doing that?) is a good way to drive users off of your app. It was fun for a while, but now I feel like I’ve wasted my time on this app

Best app ever
I love it so much, because this app actually lets me take a picture unlike others, but I’m having a trouble looking for the amount of scans of cars I did, not like points, only counting how much cars/trucks you have took a picture of, but otherwise I really like it!
Great app, it does exactly what it says it does
You take a picture of a car, it registers it to the "dex", and you get points for rarer and more interesting finds. Fun way to gamify car spotting! The free experience is great. The AI identification is not perfect but it's good enough to do what it needs to do to keep the game fun!
Cool game
Really cool game only bad thing is it can maybe mistake car sometime (very rare and if you take a bad angle) aside this it’s a perfect game with nice quest (should add more tho)
Great but Cost
Great game overall. I downloaded a few days ago and started uploading cars. However, I noticed that the free version cuts off at 100 cars and you don’t retain your xp after having to delete cars you already uploaded. Plus it takes a while without the batch save that you have to buy also. Despite this, this game is very cool as you get to learn a lot more about cars. I love how the game shows you the car stats and the ai has been always accurate for me. I would definitely consider buying the lifetime if it came on sale.

i’ve seen many carspotting apps on here, and they’re all pay-to-use, meanwhile this one does the exact same thing while having pixel cars, fun facts, and most of the specs on the car listed, completely for free! don’t waste your time paying for other spotting apps— use this one, try climb the leaderboards, and compete with your friends for the best cars you can spot!

Solid game, needs anti-cheat measures
I love this game, and playing against your friends is pretty much perfect, but since you can just grab pictures online and upload them, the global leaderboards can’t really be trusted.
For the guy who subconsciously has one eye on a road looking for something interesting.
It’s great. I rarely pay for apps but I’m going to come payday. It’s not just supercar spotting, it’s completing sets, every generation of 5 series or 911 etc etc. I’ve found myself using it on the bus home every day. Works very smooth and hasn’t set a foot wrong yet and addictive!
