Time for an update?
I’m giving this a three and not a one because I have liked this app. My iPhone is up to date but even after deleting and reinstalling, the articles on the news page will not render. I get a perpetual spinning icon. I know the app does basically work. The feature articles at the top show and other tabs open. But the news articles don’t. Hoping for a fix because last update shows several months ago.

Great App
This has quickly became my favorite app I watch it on tv then spend the rest of the time on it reading and rereading the hot rod Chevy high performance, classic trucks,muscle car reviews mags and so much more I wish I’d have had this since I was in my teens I can’t get enough about the hobby I love after my Bible reading every day it’s my favorite to spend time on keep all those issues where I can keep reading over and over all the great mags you have if I could give a million stars I would keep it free and easy

App doesn’t work
App doesn’t work. Videos won’t play. Go to help? Does nothing! Go to trouble shooting? All pages error or unavailable? This app is garbage! They seriously ruined it.
What happened?
This app used to be really good and easy to navigate. Now I have to fumble through multiple pages just to find videos or tv shows I want to watch. It is also super glitchy and the video just randomly pauses for no reason. Canceling my subscription to this. Not worth the money anymore.
Why
I just want to select a show and watch not deal with tv that’s why I subscribed to this app now it’s just garbage please go back to what it was before the update if I could give a lower rating at the moment I would
It use to be good
I use to enjoy watching live racing from around the world but since the new update or merge with discovery plus it has been a headache
Motor Trend goes to the grooming channel
You advertise new episodes on X and say new episodes on Discovery but there’s none all old shows. Why did this channel go to a trans grooming channel. Straight people are not into but sex propaganda.
Motortrend clearly doesn't know how things work
The app itself is probably the best magazine app out there, as far as look, form, and functionality. The problem is in the money department. They do not give you access to back issues despite the fact that every other mag subscription does, they expect you to buy them. Its misleading when thumbing through the app to see "subscribe for 1.99" below an older issue, but then when the sub is purchased, instead of having the button that says read, they just bumped up the button that says "buy for 4.99". After a few emails with customer service i was told that a sub only gives you access to the latest issue and that the back issues have to be purchased outright. Add that with the fact that they just moved to a quarterly output platform, and that equals me subscribing for 1 month every 3-4 months and then canceling. I would gladly keep the sub open year round just to access all the old stuff at my leisure, but i guess Motortrend wants to be difficult and do things the hard way.

Zero Star
If I wanted Discovery+ I would have got it. I subscribed to Motortrend for a reason! This used to be the best app/service. Now I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

The update ruined this app it was better before, being able to pick the show instead of live tv.
We had a nice thing going
Sure pull your shows from Netflix. Sure Pulle ‘em from YouTube. Selling out to a much bigger fish and moving you content over their. Not worth the subscription.
Not good anymore
Got rid of built in video player, is now on discovery+ and all my watch history / resume where I left off is gone. Forced me to update and then asked for a review of the app. Very dissatisfied.
