Great app…one suggested improvement.
Wish it would auto detect the motorway that I’m on and the direction I’m driving though…that would be a great addition and you already have my location for distance measurements.

I have found this a "MUST HAVE" for planning a journey with adequate breaks. I have never had any problems using this app.

The app includes all motorway services in Great Britain and details all the brands and facilities available at each and every one, and is updated every 4-8 weeks as various motorway services evolve and change. It provides several ways for motorway travellers to find and plan motorway stops prior to setting off. Services can be found by motorway, by map, operator, fuel type, brand, hotel, facilities, rating and so on. You can even book a hotel at a services from within the app if you want to break your journey or don't feel you can complete it. En-route the app can be used to find the next/nearest service stations, particularly useful if you find that you or your fellow travellers suddenly need the loo, fuel, food, drink or simply a rest. We encourage you to take a closer look and explore what the app is capable of. Your review was quite a while ago so we assume you solved your problem already. We thought it worth mentioning that struggling to download app updates isn't related to the app or app update itself and can be due to a number of different reasons relating to its delivery from the AppStore and installation on your device. If you experience the problem in future with any iOS app you can take the following steps which will usually solve the problem. - You need a stable internet connection, ideally wifi. Check its working by starting Safari and navigate to a well known website and see it display. - Check you are using the Apple ID/password you used to originally purchase the app. - Try restarting your device by shutting/powering it down and starting up again. - Delete the app from your device and re-download it (for free) from the AppStore. - Check your device is not absolutely full and that there is space to install the app update. - If none of these work, it may be that Apple are doing some maintenance on the App Store servers. Simply wait a while and try again later. I’ve bought and tried two other (cheaper) motorway service apps and was very disappointed with them.
This one is definitely the best I’ve found and the only one I now use. Highly recommended.

If you are a travelling sales person and need to get a hotel room - you can link direct to the website of the lodges/hotels directly and book your room.
Great Search Facility.
The map interface is easy to use and will be great on trips around the UK.
