Forces Unwanted Notifications
And yeah I know I can disable ALL notifications via iPhone’s system settings but I still want to get msg notifications. It seems like this app doesn’t want you to be able to choose that. Ridiculous.

Hi there, Thank you for the feedback! Sorry to hear you haven't been approved yet. While we have approved some members in the Miami and NYC area, if you happened to submit your profile without location shared or created your profile in a different area your location may not show for us to know your profile could be approved. “We’re starting in NYC”
I signed up to check this thing out and am still confused. Most Grindr users show their faces in major cities. It’s only an issue in rural areas but for good reason. Why be coy about being a sex (“casual dating”) app? It’s like the developers the developers are taking the worst aspects of straight dating and hookup culture and concentrating them in an app. Let’s just all pretend to be serious and not only interested in sex on the surface but really it’s just sex. Like just be open and honest instead of pretending to be something else.

Motto aims to elevate queer matchmaking; in the app, we give you options to set your intentions and preferences so that you can find matches, whether that is for tonight or something more. Motto doesn't only ask users to post three face photos, we also verify that those photos are real, accurate and recent. We're currently live in NYC and Miami and hope to be live in more cities. If you have feedback on the app or would like to speak with someone from our team, please reach out at help@findmotto.com

“Queer”? Stop claiming what you’re NOT.
THIS IS A GAY CIS GUY APP. Just say that and stop trying to be what you’re not.
Or become an actually inclusive app.
