Used to be great
Ever since OnX bought it it has gone down hill. Removing forums, removing the ability to comment in the app, and frequent crashes. Wish there was an alternative.

I miss the forum section
Many bugs and inconveniences
The "Routes next door" feature is maddening to use. It doesn't show the route next door because it shows the leftmost route at the entire crag. A large crag like North Forty can have over 100 routes so you constantly need to scroll. This is a simple feature, just show the current route so one doesn't need to scroll back to your place. This and lots of other glitches makes for a frustrating day

Repeating ticks bug
Please fix the bug that automatically ticks a climb hundreds to times!!
Buggy, more so as of late!
Bugs: double tick created on a tick, “routes” Nextdoor always defaults to the first route in the area

Duplicating Tick & Technical Errors
App now duplicates ticks. Had to delete the app and update on website. Lost all my saved areas.
Do more, OnX. Please.
This could be such a great app. It’s a decent app that comes from a good website. But the functionality needs to be implemented more. So many features on the website need to be brought to the app. Adding images to a route? Details on when crags are shaded or in the sun? The little things. And make it more navigable.

They removed the forum tab from the app
App is still great for beta and route info but forum are no longer accessible from the app, bummer. Nice to find partners, gear, etc. on the forums.
Downhill
Slow and clunky to the point of being unusable. Used to work fine but whatever they’ve added under the hood since Onx bought it has made it useless.

What happened to the forums portal web link feature? This critical feature was the most used part of the app for many. Please restore
Add personal photos
Yoo you guys should definitely add a setting for us to add photos that app devs approve of so we can all share experiences
Bring back forum access on the app
Forum access is useful for partner finder, sales forum, etc. It seems odd to take away access to these basic features of the site.
Crashes immediately on iOS 15.8.8
Displays splash screen and then exits immediately. Boo. This OS version is not end of life and should still be supported.

Remove the forum, which is an incredibly important feature, and didn’t communicate at all with anyone. BRING BACK THE FORUM!!!!

No Forum on app
The forums are my favorite part of Mtn Project, and it is much more of a hassle to get to them on the website with them now removed from the app. Would give the old version of the app 5 stars

I used this app daily. Until they removed the number #1 reason why I use the app… they removed the forums section over a month ago. I thought it was a bug but there has been no communication.
