About

Mouse Scale® Light is an affordable app for truck drivers that gives them greater freedom and independence from scale companies while helping them save valuable resources. It can help open the door to a new era in which truck drivers are rewarded by motor carriers for saving time, fuel, and money through professional load control. It transforms three commonly available types of air suspension pressure gauges into an effective system for estimating axle loads and predicting the optimal tandem position: the factory-installed air suspension pressure gauge or PSI sensor for the drive axles; a liquid pressure gauge for monitoring trailer air suspension pressure; and a high-resolution digital tire pressure gauge, which can also be used to measure pressure in the trailer air suspension. Mouse Scale® Light includes a one-week free trial and then costs1 dollar per month in the United States. We intentionally keep the price this low to help improve winter road safety. Our goal is to unite truck drivers in the digitalization of the load-control industry and maintain the current subscription price for the Light version at least until August 2029. Using the air suspension pressure gauges on your truck and trailer, you can estimate axle weights with new universal slope-intercept formulas for drive axles and trailer tandems, which require only a one-point calibration with a heavy load. The app predicts the optimal tandem position and tells you how many holes to move the tandems for better load balance based on current road conditions. In winter, optimizing axle loads can improve tire traction and help reduce the risk of a jackknife. During warmer seasons, a moderate increase in trailer tandem load may reduce tire rolling resistance and improve fuel economy. Even basic axle weight information can sometimes help you haul additional partial loads. The unwritten rule of this industry is simple: whoever controls the weight deserves to be rewarded by the motor carrier. We want you to receive fair rewards for professional load control and for saving time, money, and diesel fuel. We do not create secrets — we challenge outdated myths that have caused unnecessary costs and risks for drivers and motor carriers. You earn the money; a small royalty for our ideas and software is enough for us. We want to share better values with truck drivers across this industry. It is not enough simply to comply with legal weight limits. It is even more important to choose the optimal trailer tandem and fifth-wheel positions so you can return home safely after every trip while earning a better profit. It is also important for all of us to reduce carbon emissions. What expenses can Mouse Scale® Light help reduce? A truck may undergo certified weighing many times per year, consuming time and fuel. Optimizing load balance may reduce tire rolling resistance and improve fuel economy. Even the simplest axle weight information may help solve logistics problems more efficiently, including hauling additional partial loads. Results depend on the truck, trailer, equipment, calibration, road conditions, and driving practices. These are possibilities, not guarantees. Mouse Scale® PRO is more advanced. It calculates 25 useful weight-related results for the truck, trailer, and cargo, including cargo weight and the cargo center of mass. It is another step toward the future of digital load control, expanding partial-load transportation, and reducing empty miles. Start with Mouse Scale® Light. We hope it helps you earn fair compensation for professional load control and resource savings. Axle-weight results are estimates. Follow applicable laws, road rules, and company procedures. Use a certified scale when approaching legal limits or whenever you are uncertain. Terms of Use: https://arc.net/l/quote/vgehazzr
