A must have support service for any dog owner
WOW. Doctor Abramson Mooney is a GODSEND. I don’t know how people navigate the veterinary healthcare system without a service like MoVET. I was never one to care much about my vet choice beyond price. My experience with MOVET completely changed my outlook on what excellence in vet service could look like. Dr. Mooney was my doctor, therapist, patient advocate, and total support system this week with my dog Bowie. Bowie was nonstop vomiting for 5 days. Our GP insisted on treating him with supportive care (fluids, Cerenia) for DAYS. Dr. Mooney realized that something was off with their plan of care and stayed with me at every step of the way— from providing a second opinion on x rays (my GP misdiagnosed them as normal, MOVET looked and had concerns and Dr, Mooney even consulted with numerous other vets to confirm her concerns and they were right that the x rays were abnormal. ) MoVET helped me with every decision after from questioning my vets course of action, patient advocacy, helping me negotiate my vet bills down for unnecessary services, looking into better vet care options and recommending providers, helping me weigh decisions about a $6K surgery and so much more. She also spoke directly with my GP and the ER vets to advocate for my dog Bowie’s care at a time when I felt completely overwhelmed and helpless by the vet health system. Thank you MoVET for saving Bowie and providing me with so much care and support along the way.
