Crashing: useless device
This app will not stop crashing, rendering the phone to gimble pairing impossible. Essentially making good hardware, useless and junk.
The movi is fun to use. But?....
Are there any updates coming? Or are you guys leaving it the way it is? Please help us out. Update the app so we can continue using the gimbal.
App Crashing Constantly
The gimbal, fantastic!!! Had for 6 years. The app, constant crashing and won’t even launch at this point so basically the gimbal is bricked for all intents and purposes. You can’t open the app to change modes and get the full use of the gimbal.
No update singe 2019 !
Obsolète equipment because the app is crashed every time, thank you Freefly. 😡
App not upgraded in years
Why the Movi app is not being upgraded? The hardware was not cheap to acquire. Clearly, this is a disservice to all the customers who place their hard-earned money in such a brand. Disappointing.

Nice app, but really needs more fps settings, and definitely wide angle camera for new iPhones.

It was working fine
Then it just started to freeze when I opened the app. I reset my phone, I checked my storage and it was fine. I finally just deleted the app. I really don’t want this to happen again
Very selfish company
To put out a product and not update the app is unacceptable . Bad business. And now the gimbal is no longer being produced. But still, an honest company should and would update the app. Considering the price we paid for this gimbal. You basically just hung us out to dry. Pathetic and cowardly.
No App Update in 3 Years!? :-(
Any chance you’d be able to update your app to support the latest iOS versions and devices? Many of us have working Movi hardware that our phones no longer support. Please update this app so we can keep using the devices we purchased without fail. Tyvm!
Amazing Gimbal
I just discovered this gimbal. Since Filmpro will be unobtainable due to subscription pricing. Will you keep the app active for the next 10 years for. If not, what other app have full integration with the gimbal beside Filmpro.
Great but not ready for new iPhones
I loved this gimbal but now the iPhone 13's camera has to be unbalanced far out to the left in order not to have the gimbal in the shot. Please come up with a fix so I can keep using this amazing tool!

Errors out loosing footage
Several times I’ve had the app error out when I finish a longer recording and the whole recording is deleted. Definitely using filmic pro instead of this app moving forward.
Don’t buy this gimbal!
Bummed I paid $500 for my gimbal and system, counterweights, hoodie, etc and no updates for an app that constantly crashes and loses the Bluetooth connection to the phone, rendering the Movi buttons useless. I was an Osmo user for years, should’ve stayed. (I don’t think Movi Freefly is even being made any longer.. 2/2021)
