Great little app for accessing individual frames
This app runs extremely well and is very easy to use. It really is mind-boggling how smoothly it glides through hundreds, and even thousands of frames while you're searching your video for just the right frame. I like to use it to find and then isolate the perfect frame of my dogs and mini-pigs to capture maximum cuteness/derpiness. The only thing that makes it tedious to use is that there's no intermediate speed control when you're trying to find a certain point in the video. Using the thumb scroller will get you within a second (or only twenty seconds, depending on the length of the video) or so of the timestamp you're looking for, but then begins several minutes of swiping to narrow down to the region of the film you want. For example, I was trying to find a cute face my dog made in a nine minute video, but the thumb slider would only let me get within five or ten seconds of the region I wanted to search for the best frame in. But then I had to swipe vigorously for six or seven minutes as the frames blurred by, in order to merely advance the time stamp a few seconds to the half-second long time-stamped area/region that contained the frames I was after. In short, scrolling to reach an indexed/specific location is either way too fast (x10), or way too slow (x10), with no happy medium speed for zoning into your sweet spot. There's no landscape mode to help provide better cursor control, either. All in all, a useful, reliable, and free app!
