A wonderful resource to help organize my dvd collection. I especially love how the app lets you look online for the exact cover art. I also enjoy how simple it is to use the barcode on the back of my dvd to enter the movie into my collection.
I love Movie Buddy
Movie Buddy is so easy to use. It makes it easy to check if I have a DVD before I make a purchase, eliminating double up purchases. The only downfall is UK barcodes, they are hit and miss.

Syncing issues
I like this trio of apps but have stopped using them due to syncing issues. I have followed advice from them to try to resolve but no luck. Since I want apps that can be used on both devices, this is no longer a good app for me

Great for movie collectors
I have tried quite a few apps for my movie collection of around 2000 movies and this is by far my favorite one. I love how easy it is to navigate and find a movie I wanna watch. You can even organize the movies and edit all the information however way you want to. You can even add a little section for movies on your wish list that you’re looking out for. Love it my only small problem is trying to move movies from the wish list to movies I have and having to re-edit everything.

Just what I was looking for
Amazing app and very easy to use! Loving it. Interface is simple but effective for what you need it for. Only might be an option to sort alphabetically and if PLEASE, PLEASE make an app for video game inventory. I would buy that in a heartbeat.
Perfect App For Movie Collectors
I love this app. Though it’s free, I did purchase the extra part for scanning more dvds in rather than what comes with the free part of the app. My grandmother has trouble remembering what dvds she has. This app is a lifesaver! Definitely worth it!!

Great app, I can deal with one time payment. Cheaper than money wasted on buying duplicates. Still have yet look at all of the app but also being able to mark what you have loaned out.
No Subscription FEE
Movie Buddy works great and I bought a lifetimes license for 10 dollars. I use a hand barcode scanner to scan in my whole Movie Library, and new movies I add.
Does not scan any longer
Updated review: reduced to 1 star. App doesn't work anymore. Continually crashes and will no longer save scans. Wasted time and money scanning hundreds of dvds for nothing and now I can't scan the other half of my collection. Garbage app.
I bought the pro version because I have a huge movie media collection and wanted to finally keep track of it. I like that I can export to a PDF list and also have the collection with me on the go when shopping for used or new media. It's ok but it has problems that need to be addressed. -You have to scan a little at a time because it frequently gets the wrong versions or a totally different movie and sometimes it says it didn't scan one that it did or vice versa. -It seems to default to new reboot versions of old movies I've had to go back and check multiple times which is frustrating if you're trying to scan hundreds of movies. Sometimes it puts other movies that just have the same word in the title and aren't even connected to the UPC that you scanned. -Trying to scan a series of movie sequels is tedious when it shouldn't be (eg: Friday the 13th 1-10) it mixes them up and you have to manually fix them. - Boxed sets are also annoying and it cannot find most of them, I had to manually add. It's been a lot more tedious than I expected and not even halfway through. This needs a hefty update to have more accurate results, a UPC is connected to a specific version so not sure why it's often so wrong. I hope an update comes out that fixes this database, I'm still using it for now but we'll see.

App is nice, syncing between apple devices is terrible.
I have the paid version of the app and the features work well for tracking movies, shows, etc. but the ability to sync between devices fails and sends you into a “restart your device” loop constantly. If you only want to use the app on 1 device, it does do what it’s intended to do.
App is 10/ Database is 0
After over 1,000 movies added and 1 year of use there is one conclusion; this app is great but the Database is terrible or does not exist. After CLZ trial I got frustrated what I have been missing. CLZ scans every movie, easy… MovieBuddy Pro scans 1% of movies, even BIG titles. You will have to manually enter every detail of every movie, and it takes days to upload a few movies, using multiple devices. This app is NOT serious and I have lost $10. Sad.
