We use the TMDB database so every classic and new movie is on service. But we did just release an update giving you more control over your searches in 5.8.5. Solid app. My friend and I can create lists together plus there is sharing and chat. Actively developed too from what I can tell.

Me and my friends always had trouble picking a movie,too many opinions, not enough decisions. Moviemate honestly made it fun again!!We each add our favorites, vote, and it’s done. It’s simple, thoughtful, and actually brings everyone together. Love it!

does its job perfectly, havent had a single bug in the 6 months i’ve been using the app. (extra features would be great tho and i’d even be willing to pay a lil for extra features to support the apps creator). 5/5 ⭐️

Amazing Idea

This idea has tons of potential! Really enjoying the early model of this app and can really see it being a staple in my life. Finally something to help me organize all of these movies/shows i want to watch on the gazillion different streaming platforms.

So close!

This app is doing nearly everything I want! Easy to use, quick to assemble lists, ability to share them.

I'd love to be able to sort or re-order the items in my lists. I hope this is a feature that's coming soon!

Perfect for movie lovers

I “try” to watch a movie today and this is perfect for prioritizing my watch list. I use it in conjunction with Letterboxd and find myself watching more of what I want. Love this app!

Laggy

I really like how this app is organized and how user friendly it is. The only thing that irks me is that it occasionally doesn’t load when starting up. None of my other apps seem to be affected, and my internet isn’t down. Very frustrating.

Helpful and fun app

Great app - but sadly crashes once trying to open or create a watchlist

This is an amazing app that “would” but so helpful for our group to watch and choose which movies to watch. It looks like it had just received an update before I installed and I think the update broke the app. Every time I go to add a watchlist - I get a white screen and the app crashes making it mostly unusable. I do love how it’s designed and that it syncs with other streaming services. I hope it gets fixed quickly so that our group can use it together.

Soo much potential

Love this. I have been looking for something like this! Can’t wait for group watchlists. I would love to see more categorization. Such as a ‘see all’ option so I don’t have to scroll horizontal but it opens up and shows more in one page. It would also be great to categorize by the movie genre or by tv show. And another awesome thing would be to mark 👍🏼👎🏼 movies we have already seen to exclude them from the search 😁

So easy to use!

Love love love this app! It’s mine and my boyfriend’s go to resource for movies. We like that it organizes by subscriptions - making it easier to find the right movie for the night :) AND the app design is sleek and fun to use.

How did I survive without this!

My boyfriend and I always struggle to decide what to watch!! We scroll through all our streaming services for HOURS to try find something we both want to watch… awesome app, great UI and transforms the way we make a decision for our movies and shows!! Can’t wait for the collaborative watch list feature 🥳

Found a new movie to watch in minutes

I had never seen Nobody and it came up as highly rated and on a streaming service I already own. Great experience! Would have never known about this movie if not for Moviemate. Can’t wait for the group watchlists so my partner and I can find movies to watch together.
