Buggy to the moon and back
I’ve been having problems with saving videos when I have layers upon layers of effects or anything. I even noticed the entire thing lags and it also double repeats sound when I import a clip and it’s really annoying.
What’s more annoying is when I have a heavily edited project it gets stuck at a certain percentage when downloading a video and it stays there forever and I have to remove effects and download the video with less layers which is stupid.
PLEASE update and fix your app, this is my main and only software I use to edit and I love this app too much to dread finding another software to use 🙏

The best app
I purchased the app and used a lot. It’s the most convenient and comprehensive app. I strongly recommend it!
Best video editor on iOS
I prefer it to the other so called best app on the iPad. Much more intuitive and non subscription.
Like the features but…
Wish it was not so glitchy. If these bugs can be fixed I would consider using it again.
The new iOS 26 makes Movie Spirit crash if you tap on the gear ⚙️ now.
What does clearing the cache do? Will I lose my saved projects if I do that? I’d also like to know how to instantly move any clip so that either its beginning or its end lines up with the time marker. Sometimes it takes a few moves to do this and I’m wondering if I’m overlooking a simple way to do so. Is there a copy and paste? If I could figure this out and/or if there is a written manual somewhere, I’d give the app 5 stars.

Top Notch
This app is truly something special. It took me a few times to start becoming fluent and understanding each tool— but the slight curve paid off big time. Best video editing app by far. I would easily give this another star if it were possible! Great job!

Difficult to use
This is a good app but difficult to use. It's harder than it needs to be to edit videos. Otherwise, it is great and I love how there us no subscription. You might have to pay in the first place, though... I'm not sure. I got it as the free app of the day.

Superb video creation/editing
Very sophistcated app… in addition to having the usual independent timelines, you can import music, videos from your computer, extract music from existing videos and record your own commentary. Once you have done some trial and error on the different functions it is easy to use…
What happened?
This used to be great! I loved it and used it all the time! It let me do so many things, and gave me quality products! UNFORTUNATELY, that changed recently. Now my videos don’t look crisp the color is altered from the original, and it’s less sharp. I have tried different filters to see if that would help and it really is minimal regarding improvement. I’m not sure what happened, but I guess I’m gonna go back to iMovie maker, which I don’t like as well because it won’t let me have different sizes for the video like MovieSpirit will, but at least it will give me sharp videos. I used this on my iPhone XS and now my 15 Pro
