HORRIBLE

this is one of the worst apps I’ve ever had sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t can never seem to detect whether the wheelbase is plugged in or not and it’s always stuck in some sort of PC mode with no options genuinely a terrible app

Usability

This app is terrible it doesn’t let you use all the settings like the pc version. Some people don’t have a pc they need to make the app have all the functionality of the pc software can’t be that hard.

Useless

Cannot change region for phone number. Pages constantly say loading. Can’t login.

Not much use at all if you can’t even login…..

Just save yourself the trouble.

Honestly just don’t even download it. The second you hit the wrong button in the app your wheel will be bricked if you don’t have a windows PC. Really can’t tell you to stay away enough. I just bought an R3 for $400 that will probably find its way to the trash after sitting in the closet for 5 or 6 years. Please just don’t even bother.

Don’t use this

Since I started using it it has made my rig unplayable

Unnecessary GPS Requirement, Spyware?

After setting up an account with Moza, as is necessary to use their software on PC, I downloaded their mobile app to make quick adjustments without needing to Alt+Tab out of a game.

Upon submitting my login info and trying to use the application, the app tells me that it requires precise GPS location in order to function.

There is absolutely no reason an app for adjusting sim racing peripherals needs an accurate GPS location to function, unless it is collecting user data for purposes outside the scope of the software. (i.e. location targeted ads, spyware, CCP surveillance, who knows?)

If the app needs a region for language/product localization, that’s fine, and it can be done by selecting region and language from a list just as other software has for literal decades.

Uninstalled and won’t use it unless Moza can give a valid reason for why they need to know (to within a couple feet of accuracy!) where a customer is using their app.

And if it is just a matter of data collection for advertising, why are users being monetized after they purchase premium hardware? It’s not like the hardware that uses this software is given away for free.

You can spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a high-end setup from Moza, and then still have your data collected just so they can still make a few extra nickels on the side?

I find it somewhat telling that the link to their privacy policy page on the App Store returns a 404.

Needs updating

If you’re relying on this for Xbox etc then don’t bother. The app needs updating to push updates to the wheel and it needs the latest version of pithouse for the app. Doesn’t work well as it is

To Everyone Struggling! Read This!

1. If you reside in the USA, you must register with your email! Phone registration is not supported in the USA.
2. Use your phone! The screen formatting does not work on the iPad! You will not be able to check the user agreement.
3. Do ALL of your initial setup with a PC FIRST, using the Moza Pit House app.
4. Be sure to update the firmware BEFORE doing anything else.
5. Do all of your initial setup, calibration and checks in Pit House. Everything is retained in the Base and will show up in the app when you log in.
6. Once in game, use the wheel for navigation and DO NOT TOUCH your controllers. If you try to use both the controller takes over and you have to recalibrate everything in the wheel all over again! I can’t stress this enough!

I hope this helps. I have not had any issues of any kind other than figuring out the differences between the layout of this app and how the PC version is set up.

Will not let me check the agreement when logging in. Therefore I have not been able to use the app with my wheel on my iPad.

Can’t log in

I can’t even log into the app, because no matter where I tap, I can’t fill the user agreement and privacy policy radio button on the log in screen. I’m on an iPad Pro 13”.

Mosa app

This app is completely garbage does not do a damn thing for Xbox and doesn’t recognize any add-ons to the Xbox.
