Great functionality but needs some work
Using iPhone app with 2025 Samsung 50" Frame TV
Would not automatically connect to TV
Tried to manually connect but dialogue box brings up numeric keypad only so couldn't enter the periods for the IP address.
It did eventually automatically connect after bringing up the TV IP settings. Not sure if that is coincidence or if it just takes a while.
"Your Gallery" did not automatically download thumbnails at first. Needed to enter the gallery and then it started downloading.
"Now Playing" was not the correct image to begin with, although my TV was playing a slideshow from the Samsung Art Store at the time. Later it did state that other content was being displayed.
Lost connection to the TV as soon as the app was minimized and required a few confirmations on the TV itself to reconnect. Seems like the TV does not remember the permission and requires multiple confirmations each time the app is used. Couldn't get art mode past the authorization at all in the end.
Remote control works well, even with the app saying art mode has connection issues.
The functionality in the app seems good, but most of it is behind a paywall including the critical send to TV function, so the app is of limited use in free mode. I suggest making send to TV free as that seems to be the main point of the app.
