Built for people who own music
Most music apps today seem designed around streaming subscriptions. OfflineTunes feels different. It respects the fact that I already have my own collection and just want a powerful player to manage and enjoy it. That's becoming surprisingly hard to find, so this app has earned a permanent spot on my phone.

Worth switching from my old player
I was hesitant to move because I'd been using the same music player for years, but I'm glad I gave this one a chance. Importing my music was simple, the interface is clean, and I discovered features I didn't even know I wanted, like playlist folders.
Worth paying for
It's rare to find an app that focuses on people who still own their music collection. No account required, no unnecessary cloud lock-in, just a really capable music player. Happy to support a developer building something different.
Better than I expected
I originally downloaded it because I wanted something that played FLAC files, but I've ended up using the FineTune feature a lot. It's helping me clean out years of songs I always skipped but never deleted.
Perfect for road trips
I drive through areas with terrible cell service every week, so streaming isn't reliable. Downloaded my music once and now everything just works offline. CarPlay controls have been solid too.
Feels like an iPod again
Retro Mode is way more fun than I expected. I didn't think I'd actually use it, but now I switch back and forth depending on my mood. It brings back memories while still feeling modern.
Great for huge libraries
I have around 18,000 songs and most apps become slow or impossible to navigate. this music player has been surprisingly fast. Folder browsing and search work really well. Still exploring all the features but so far I'm impressed.
Great Player for large local libraries
OLT imported a vast library (153,000 songs) in much less time that AppleMusic and supports Smart PlayLists (which AppleMusic only supports on Mac). I am using OLT on an iPadAir5-m1 and an iPhone15 and am very happy with it. The developer is very responsive* and continues to enhance the product. No-brainer worth the subscription.

So far it's a great player. still waiting for the gotcha. Haven't paid yet and i have been able to listen without any annoying ads.
Hands down the best free music player
Coming from non iOS, where there are plenty of offline music players to choose from, iOS has always felt lacking in that area. This app pretty much fills that gap for me. There are so many ways to get your music onto it, which I really appreciate. My only request would be the ability to stream directly from services like an S3 bucket or OneDrive. I have too many songs to store locally, so cloud streaming support would make this perfect for me.

Love Playlist Folders!
This is a great music player which allows me to created nested playlist folders and shuffle the whole folders and playlists.
