This was a good app but it was updated January 2026 and the version here is outdated.
Very useful for upstream weather
For some reason, I don’t have the option in the app to choose non-tstrm wind reports. I see others have the capability and I checked for app update.

App not working after last night’s iPhone update. Cannot enter reports.

Useless to consumers
The app is more or less useless for those who download it. The app only provides a map and twinkling lights to show reports have been submitted in specific geographical areas. However, there is no legend for the map symbols or any explanations of what you’re seeing. It makes sense, though, once you figure out the enduser is not the App Store customer. It’s the scientists who are crowdsourcing this data.

Why is the view reports map so dark?!

Quick and Easy
Much quicker and easier way to submit a report to the NWS than calling their spotter line.

Just got this app during a thunderstorm, and it was really fun to report the damage, rain, and hail! it makes it feel even cooler that these reports go out to the nws to make better warnings. i would highly recommend this app to anyone, especially people who love weather.
Thunder/Lightning
It would be nice to be able to report thunderstorms and lightning.
Issue Reporting
There appears to be an issue with “Report Types.” When selecting the type, no dropdown menu appears, and the app freezes. Can no longer submit reports.
