Used to work, update ruined it. Won’t pass “name your device,” update then lose connection, zero lights found. Lame.
App does not work
I was given a Luci Connect as a Christmas present. I’ve been back and forth with support, I’ve exchanged it, and still no path forward. The light itself connects, but none of the actual functions, such as power, brightness, etc, actually work. I also don’t see the light in Bluetooth settings. Is this product no longer supported in the app, too? I’m not so sure, since I’ve seen updates as recently as last month. But, please, help. I’d still love to use this light.

Finally, a working app after 3 YEARS

I am relieved that the MPOWERED app works again. I’m so glad you fixed it! It’s been 3 years of crashing on the Home Screen, and the connection between lights and the app not being reliable. Finally, this is mainly fixed. I’m loving the new interface of the color option! It’s way better than before! The inconvenient and unresponsive app has been fixed. I hope you agree with me. This wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for the 1.7.0 update.

App doesn’t work
The app doesn’t work well. You have to keep exiting the app to get back to the main menu and when I try to connect my light, it just stays cycling on the light found page.

Apparently same issues as everyone else
I purchased 4 smart solar lights, and the official LUCI app cannot connect to any of them. It is pretty frustrating to be trying to get the most out of these (expensive) lights yet I am only able to treat them as a simple lantern. Vert disappointing.

What was this light, about $60? And now when I connect it tells me I can’t connect unless I update my app. You mean the one I JUST downloaded from the App Store? So now the controls are useless. Thanks for nothing. Wish I could get my money back.
Doesn’t work with my “older” Luci light
I’ve had a Luci light from MPowered for barely over a year and when I opened the app today I was told my light is no longer supported because they made some amazing improvements to the app....I mean I’m all for technology moving forward but after a year? And isn’t it a better idea to make the app backwards compatible OR offer a “legacy” version? So many other companies do this. What a waste of money

Does not work
They even sent me a new light and the app tells me it needs to update and then cannot find my light. 😕. Too bad. This used to be a really cool product.

Plain and simple, the app doesn’t work at all.
Can no longer control my luci.
I loved this light and app when I first received it. Now...not so much. I can turn in the light manually, but no longer have any other functions available. Can’t dim it change colors through the app. Say it can no longer connect to my light. Very disappointed. When are they going to fix this app, which was working perfectly before the update???

Stuck in endless cycle
Stuck in endless cycle of trying to pair my light. Asks me to name my light but no way to submit the name. Madness! No information on their website. TERRIBLE. Luckily this light was a gift

Really upsetting that this app worked for about 24 hours, then told me I had to update my light...I clicked the button to update, and now the light no longer connects to the app. Mpowerd sent me another light, and that one won’t connect to the app either. It didn’t give me an option to not update either, I couldn’t connect until I did. So dumb. Would be great if this could get fixed.........

Doesn’t function. At all.
Still Doesn’t work!
It’s been 6 months since the app was updated and still no fix. More and more reviews are posted with many of the same issues that began to occur when the app was updated last year. I going to go out on a limb and say the app is not working properly and it appears there is no fix or it would have been corrected by now. Another alternative is that MPOWERD just doesn’t care. I’m going with the latter.

App doesn’t work
Finds the light but goes into a loop of looking for and finding the light. Nothing else.
App is unusable
App is unusable. It finds my LUCI just fine, but on the same page where it tells me to name my light, it says “Cannot connect until your app version is updated.” I just downloaded it for the first time, so it is the most updated version...? I can’t get past that screen so I guess I won’t be able to use the app at all.

Garbage
This app won’t connect to the light. It says new light found, I am asked to name the light, then it searches for lights again. This loop seems to continue indefinitely. Garbage.
App keeps crashing
The app keeps crashing now on my iPhone 11 Pro (the original app was fine on my old iPhone SE). I contacted the company and I’m not sure if they’re doing anything about it

Great product. Loved the multiple colors that can be set on a timer.
For some reason the app will not start up and crashes before loading which makes the customization useless.
