Since when did our Minnesota Public Radio get so bias? Always a slant, just give Minnesotans the news.

Audio takeover
I agree with the previous comments. If I’m streaming MPR and I get a call, or click on a FB post with sound, MPR doesn’t pause as it used to. So disappointed in this “upgrade.”
Data Mining
Looks like the new app is used for massive data mining and its shared with “social media” companies they now try to track you all the time via GPS, and what you are doing within the app and any other websites and are apparently working to start forcing you to identify yourself to access “news” similar to what the BBC, CBS etc. did self canceling if you will. Quickly moving forward to a future dead internet. As Everyone wishes you to allow them to essentially use malware as condition to access their “service”.

Finally fixed
They finally fixed the obnoxious problem of over taking all other audio.
It doesn’t play well with other apps or Bluetooth devices anymore
It continues playing when turning off connected devices or if you open other app like YouTube or Facebook.

Why does the media stop playing in CarPlay when you switch to a navigation app?
Latest update is buggy
Impossible to hide/pause/shut down. It turns itself back on when I take a phone call.
AirPod Flaw
When AirPods are taken out or put back in the case the app automatically starts playing through the phone speaker, even if the app has been previously paused. Very disruptive and very annoying. There does not seem to be a setting to change this.
Trump on MPR
You are broadcasting Trump’s so called speech at Davos, as you probably should. But I cannot stand to listen to him droning on, lying & sounding like an idiot!! I have to tune out. Ack😩
Too many taps
Is MPR trying to frustrate its loyal (50 years in my case) by making is tap tap tap to listen? From my perspective—bad idea!
Awful - - What knucklehead designed this????
Geez now I have to go to an endless series of full screen photos and click on each one, one at a time, to listen to a story. I used to be able to see several stories on each page. I’ve deleted the app and will go to my Safari browser on my iPAD and enter mprnews.org. We are sustaining members and wonder what the heck their web design staff was thinking or NOT?? I’d give a ZERO rating if I could ….

Need a search bar!!
Pretty good, but why is there no search bar? That’s a very basic feature of any modern app.

Failed update
Who designed the recent MPR redesign? Now I have to navigate my journey by pushing four selections to hear the news. Then I can’t escape once there! The audio continues even after I attempt to jump to a different app. To shut up MPR, I have to delete the app. Want to hear more news later? Reinstall the app. Is there a fix for this?

Redesign of App
The redesign is awful. I thought I’d give it a month or. Two and see if I got used to using it. I haven’t.
Terrible app
I’m not sure what they did but the audio from this app doesn’t play nicely with other apps. If you are listening to audio in this app and you open another app that has audio the second app freezes. It used to work just fine in the old app. Please fix it.
New app is awful
Someone needs to revert the Git repo back to the old app!!! The new app is awful on iPhone. The audio will automatically switch from headphones to speaker with incoming calls. The old app was perfectly fine!!
So much worse!
Since the app change I cannot figure out how to listen to MPR on my phone. Not at all intuitive or user friendly. Please update this app so that I can access MPR on my phone when I’m out for a walk.
