Mr.Doodle!

This is a very nice adaptation of the original, which is unfortunately unobtainable these days. Using a Bluetooth controller is a must. Thank goodness this game supports it. I have come across a lot of retro games that donโ€™t and they are unplayable.

Clunky controls but glorious game

Controls are not crisp, but great to see this resurrection of the greatest arcade game of the 1980โ€™s!

Great Game, HORRIBLE CONTROLS

You cannot move with adequate speed and precision, guiding Mr Doodle with your finger on the screen. Frustration is maddenimg.

Great game hard to control

Maybe when I get used to it Iโ€™ll be able to play better

Good game

Good game fun just like Mr Do

Controls can be improved.

I think this game has potential and could be a great homage to the original if the controls were improved. As it stands now, they are not sufficient for fast direction changes and lend one to frequently block the view of the action. I cannot get far enough into the game to have any feedback to level design. Love to see a lab update to this that improves controls.

It IS Mr. Do [however]

Don't ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ’ฉ me on the way the E X T R A move and don't get smashed on ๐ŸŽ and sometimes the ball โšพ๏ธ going through them without stopping the little ๐Ÿ‘ฑ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ‘ฑ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ‘ฑ๐Ÿฟ's -- plus the ๐Ÿ’Ž isn't the best find ever and it lost its magic like it had in the original. IT SHOWS UP WAY TOO OFTEN for a measly 8000 points and simply a gateway to the next scene

Mr Do!

I found this today searching for mr do! Mr Do! Was an arcade game from the 1980s. I was Happy I found this but controls are tough.

Love it, but movement and shooting could be better

All the nostalgia of the original mr do, but because it's all touch movement you really do a quick turn and shoot when you're being chased like with a joystick. Learning curve? Oh well.

Great game

It took getting used to the controls but ya got to remember it's a touch screen no joystick. It's great for passing time. I love it.

Horrible controls!!!

This is a copy of one of my favorite games. Too bad it's almost unplayable. What a shame and a waste of money.

Original Mr. Do!

Controls could be better, it would help if Mr Doodle was smaller ( equal in size to the paths) to get the correct time to turn.
Good sound on iPhone, but no sound on iPad.

iCade a must

Where is the option?
As with others, the controls are horrible but with an icade controller its precise. Good quality game just like the original.

Screen goes dark

There are times when I get the "main" treat to summon an EXTRA character and the green cronies and the screen goes dark. I'm unable to determine where I can go, based on where I've been. I'm "flying blind" and can't navigate properly.

Fun But

The game is very fun but as mentioned in some previous reviews if you are playing on a small screen it is hard to control

Ok

I was not impressed I like the video game more

Mr. Doodle

EXCELLENT GAME! The reviews talking about bad controls are too harsh. The controls are swipe to move and tap to throw the power ball. Once you get used to them, they are more than adequate. I scored over 2,000,000 and had full lives so the control criticism is overdone. I left off one star because once you get high up into the game the challenge is done. The game adds more enemies, but the speed of the game never increases to add that extra level of difficulty. As is, this is a VERY GOOD homage to Mr. Do. Thank you Dmitrij Pavlov for a wonderful reminder of arcade days gone by.

Poor controls!!!

This was one of my favorite games on the Colecovision system. This would be the perfect remake except the touch controls are very poor. Takes some getting used to.

Ripped off

Crashes on ipad, cant get past the third level, should be ashamed charging for this app

Control Doesn't work very well

Like the previous review, it's really hard to control the direction. I'm using it on a iPad & still not having much success. Hopefully it gets corrected.
