I spent 1.99 on this app and it does work in my country

Great product
I have used this App for my children when they were growing and now I am using it for my students. It has a miner mistake but great overall. It encourages children to be more confident with their spelling. I will recommend this App.
Highly recommended
This is a brilliant app. My son absolutely loves it and is keen to learn spellings morning, noon and night. The only thing you have to do is ensure your phone is not on silent mode, so that you can hear the wonderful Mr Thorne!

Why is there no sound my son can not use this app

It says you spell the words wrong when you really spell it right it is a waste of money and you should not buy it
Waste of money
Looks good but does not play any sound. Sound is kind of crucial as the child is supposed to listen to the word then spell the word. Such a shame as we were looking forward to playing it and it helping with spelling.
Does not work
This was a brilliant app but is in need of an update. It does not play any sound, making it somewhat redundant.
Mute
Installed onto iPad mini. Volume on full. No sound at all. Disappointed 😪
MR Thorne's Spellbook
The sound is not working properly. The intro is ok but when it gets on to the spell page it won't say the word. I have tried uninstalling but it comes back the same?
Wish I'd bought it sooner
My son is a great reader but has never had to do any spellings. Since starting Year 1, he is now bringing lists home. No fear for us! He has done so well with this app and watching him listen to the word and repeating it if need be demonstrates just how great phonics is for learning to read and spell.

I was trying to find the right app to help my spelling but none of them was as good as this one. It is just the best spelling app

Another brilliant Mr Thorne app
My year 2 daughter loves this app. She is finding Spellbook 1 pretty straightforward but gave up with Spellbook 3! It is definitely challenging yet also fun!
