Doesn’t display text formatting properly

Unfortunately, while cheap, this isn’t good enough to actually be usable. I attempted to open an email with very basic formatting, and it couldn’t even handle indenting and bold. I’m going to try to get a refund.

Not good enough!

Won’t view embedded singe images. Unusable for emails with multiple images and links. Waste of $2!

msg-Datei wird nicht angezeigt

Ich habe heute msg lens auf meinem Iphone 13 pro mit ios 16.6 gekauft, um die msg-Datei anzuzeigen, die an eine Mail angehängt ist.
Das funktioniert allerdings nicht, obwohl es als Feature der aktuellen msg lens-Version angepriesen wird:

„Unterstützung der Anzeige von Anhängen des msg-Typs, wenn eine E-Mail mit der Aktion msg Lense geöffnet wird“.

Das ist schade und ich fühle mich überrumpelt, da ich den Kaufpreis entrichtet habe, ohne einen Nutzen zu erzielen. Die msg lens App ist wertlos, wenn das nicht funktioniert.
Ich bitte um Rückerstattung des Kaufpreises!

MSG aus Kalender öffnen funktioniert leider nicht

Schade, dass aus der Kalender-App die MSG Dateien nicht direkt geöffnet werden können.

Der Anhang hat zwar das icon, aber es lässt sich trotzdem nicht damit öffnen.
Ein speichern bzw. herunterladen aus dem Kalenderereignis, wird auch nicht unterstützt.

Good free app with simple interface

Able to view.msg attachments and open the files inside them.
A must have for iPad if you’re team is sending you outlook attachments.

CANT OPEN .MSG FILES

.. Every .msg file i import to app brings up error for bad file format / can see thumbnail in iCloud file but never full size even in app

Seems to work fine. Solves the annoying problem that IOS doesn't read .msg files.

Komplizierte Öffnung

Das Ergebnis: Lesbare eMails die in einer cloud als msg gespeichert wurden, ist ok. Nur der Weg dahin ist umständlich. Wieso kann ich mit dem iPad nicht einen Ordner in der Cloud definieren als: Inhalt lesbar mit „msg-Lense“?

Will not open any msg file

Tried to open several .msg files. Keeps saying bad file format.

Doesn’t work

This app doesn’t work on an iPad, it always shows Loren Ipsum text.

Leider Nutzlos

Die App funktioniert leider nicht.
.msg Datei direkt aus oneDrive öffnen —> funktioniert nicht.
Weder wie wünschenswert einfach durch auswahl der Datei, noch durch senden der Datei an die App.
Dann die Mail runter geladen und versucht, lokal zu öffnen. Auch das ohne Ergebnis.
Die Datei soll angeblich korrupt sein. Mit Outlook und co. geht sie zu öffnen.

As has been said by another, this App doesn’t retain the formatting of the original message so is just one long text.

easily open .msg file from Files. One star down because it doesn’t see any HTML page settings, like fonts, colors and other page formatting

Doesn’t work

If I open a file from Files app it opens in a tiny window that is not expandable, and the attachment won’t open.

Leider kaum lesbar

Öffnet nur in einem sehr kleinen Fenster auf iPad. PDF Anlagen werden nicht angezeigt.

Opens email but doesn’t d/l images

This opened the email well enough within the app itself (rather than as an Outlook viewer), but it didn’t download any of the images within the newsletter/email...tried on 3 different .msg files.

That is a showstopper here...only good if you need to read the text within an email
