Disappointing
Very disappointed with this pay app! Glitches and freezing it’s 2025, this app is like 1999 BUFFERING, BUFFERING! Had no choice getting it, being that my cable company can’t agree with Dolan on a contract!! App should be free due to its Poor Poor performance!👎🏻👎🏻

Unable to Connect via TV Provider
I’ve been unable to connect my TV services provider, Verizon Fios. The buttons in the app for connecting through your TV services provider simply don’t work. I don’t understand why MSG would drop their app for an app that doesn’t work.
App is bugged
I sign in to my tv provider, it goes through, brings me to the screen to watch and before the game loads it brings me back to tv login then automatically says tv provider is connected and brings me back to the screen to just then bring me back to the tv provider log in… I’m in a constant loop and can’t watch anything

Was bad last year and now I can’t even watch games. Same SPF-2 error like everyone else. Whoever is responsible for this app needs to go
Update: seems this app doesn’t work and you need to download the Gotham sports app. Did that, logged in with my MSG+ info and able to stream again. Haven’t explored the app yet but able to watch the Devils game again and quality is solid.

I pay the 29.99 now guess what the app is supposed to do. LET ME WATCH THE GAME, not error code SPF-2
Unreliable
This app is just garbage and unreliable. Even their website. Knicks are finally good but can’t enjoy them on this trash app.

This app is poorly made trash. Its screen mirroring to smart TV’s is very unstable, it cuts out constantly even if you successfully mirror. For $30/month they can afford to engineer an app that functions properly.
Won’t allow tv provider login
Would give this app negative stars if possible, I continue to try to login through my tv provider but get an error of additional subscription required when I know that’s not true (I get msg on my fios) beyond frustrating and no way to resolve this
Junk programming
Makes watching games a frustrating headache. Started a game in progress and chose the option to start from the beginning of the broadcast. 30 minutes in I paused it and the content froze. Had to restart from the beginning and THERE IS NO FASTFORWARD OR REWIND. All I can do is start again and not press pause. What a joke.

Don’t bother
This app doesn’t even let you watch anything live, try to login, it says it was successful, but yet can’t watch a game
Laughable
What a complete joke of an app. Used to work OK last year. Literally useless this year. Keeps telling me “additional subscription required” BEFORE I even login with my Fios login. Even i do have MSG is on the subscription.
$30 s month and no game
I pay for ESPN+ and MSG+ and today can’t watch a game? I don’t recommend to get this app anybody. Try to find other platforms who is not that greedy
Please: just fix it!
The app works fine enough on my phone. But I have problems getting it to work on my TV - tried both the AppleTV app and airplay from my phone and it plays at maybe about 6fps. That’s so stutter-y it is unwatchable. And no, it isn’t my WiFi or other hardware - iPhone 15 pro, 1GB broadband. Literally every other streaming service works flawlessly. For $30 bucks a month, MAKE IT WORK. You cannot charge that much for an unusable app.

Impossible to hook up your tv provider. Just a scam gouge you on a subscription
Garbage
If you like having to sign in with your tv provider EVERY time you use the app and then have to wait for canned commercials while the game is in progress…this app is for you.
