MTG Picker is the companion app for your card game nights: a fast life counter, ranked games at the table, tournaments you can join or run yourself, your collection and decks, and trades in person — all in one place.
LIFE COUNTER
• 2 to 4 players, each facing their own side of the table
• See the running total of a burst of damage ("−7") as you tap
• Commander damage per opponent, poison counters and lethal warnings
• Names per player, d20, 2d6, coin flip and "who starts"
• Your game is saved automatically and the screen stays awake
RANKED AT THE TABLE
• Challenge the player in front of you: show a QR, they scan it, the game starts
• Choose format, best of one or three, and the round clock
• Report the result, your opponent confirms, and both Picker ELO ratings update
• Rematches within two hours are played but not rated, so ratings stay fair
TOURNAMENTS
• Find local and online tournaments, register and check in
• Run your own: pick the format, the Swiss rounds and the top cut, invite players, then pair each round and confirm results from your phone
• Game mode: your table, your opponent, the round clock and a life counter
• Push notifications when the next round is paired
COLLECTION, DECKS AND TRADING
• Add cards by passing them under the camera — no photos to take, it reads each card live
• Build a deck the same way, add basic lands and save it
• Instant trade at the table: scan each other's QR, pick what you give, and the cards move from one collection to the other — with what each side's cards are worth
• Browse every set and card, and find players who have the cards you want
PICKER PASS (optional)
• No ads, Ranked stats (rating history, head-to-head, record by format), the Picker ELO badge and collection space for up to 3,000 cards
• Monthly or yearly subscription
LIFE COUNTER THEMES (one-time purchase)
• Mana, Neon, Parchment and Monochrome boards, player colours, bigger life totals, and animated dice you can roll by shaking your phone
Community safety: report messages, players or tournaments, and block anyone.
