Best travel tracking app out there

I have several apps for tracking my travels and getting ideas for new destinations and I find the MTP app to be the most intuitive and useful of the free apps. I’m also impressed by how much it has improved in the last couple of years. Keep it up!

Horrible Navigation

Almost Worthless. I have been trying to update my count for the last hour and cannot find out how.

Terrible app

Wow. So many bugs in this app. Won’t let you input your password then it crashes and you try again and same thing over and over

Many technical issues with this app.

This application has many fault. Most of the time, when I am by a landmark, restaurant or hotel listed, the app doesn’t have the check in option on. I send multiples messages to costumer services and the problem keeps happening. Find another app.

Slow and glitchy

App keeps asking for location permissions even when you decline and freezes constantly. Very slow to pull up information and mark. If I filter out hotels, they will still keep showing up.

Very hard to navigate

I've been on this app for a very long time and it has consistently been difficult to navigate. Half the time when you finally figure out how to mark a country or area that you've been, the flag icon doesn't even work. They would do better to simplify the whole process and not try to put so many bells and whistles on everything. There should just be one easy way to mark where you've been

Thanks but needs more

Thanks for update but even after I turned off filter to hotels, beaches and restaurants, they still show on my map. Also, where are 2024 world heritage sites?

Used to work

Used to work fine. But now when I open app it just says loading map forever. I think it happens when my Internet connection is not very good. They really should load up all the maps and save it so it doesn’t require much data to download when the app is opened.

Great site, app maps won’t load

The website is great! The app doesn’t load the map. The loading screen icon spins with the words “Loading map…” I’ve closed it, reopened it, uninstalled, reinstalled, left it open with background refresh on for days. “Loading map…”

Not sure about it

While I enjoy tracking my travels, this app isn’t necessarily letting me do that. It includes lots of restaurants and hotels, but there is a paucity of “destinations”. Missing lots of world heritage sites, national parks, museums, etc. I have visited and enjoyed many places (whole cities) that I cannot register on this app because the app doesn’t recognize them. And the “contact us” function is dysfunctional, so it seems to be impossible to get help to use the app more effectively.

Amazing app!

I only recently joined this app, but I really love using it! It’s easy to use, keeps a central record of your travels and allows the opportunity to track your journeys, so updating your travels becomes very quick! I also love the fact that you can see where you rank amongst the 36,000 users it currently has. It’s very satisfying to see all the places where you’ve been on the map straight in front of you knowing the moment you travel someplace, the map updates itself!

The best app ever

This is one of the best apps ever (even when it crashes. And there were some versions when it crashed all the time :-) I spend a lot of time on it even when not traveling, it helps with the planning of future trips or just learning from the links on WHS.
IIt's been almost nine months since we went to 1500 MTPs. I guess it takes a huge amount of work to update everything, still many of the regions have weird text under their correct heading (e.g. Chad - South: MTP LOCATION
