The developers of this game really want money. You have to pay to actually be good at the game which is already bad, but I spent money on an account and it got banned for no reason. Do not play this game.

RETRIEVING AN ACCOUNT
TO ALL PLAYERS.. MAKE SURE YOU DIDNT DELETE THE APP AND DOWNLOAD IT AGAIN WHILE THEY’re doing maintenance because its very difficult to recover your account or worst you wouldnt access at all. (My one, i cannot access it althought its connected to my email). All your TOP-UPs and your late night sleep to make your favorite character strong will be gone. Thats part of making money.. 非常浪费钱的游戏，如果你不是有钱人千万不能玩，钱花不够就只能给人打死。拿不到好装备又要花多少钱买，钱不够只能给人欺负。有钱再可玩的！！
Fun and nostalgic until you have to pay pay pay
I played MU online 10 years ago and got a lot of fun playing this game. Really nostalgic. I had it for a week. But the problem is that you really need to keep paying to keep having fun.
At first, I didn't mind paying a little bit. I even bought VIP privileges for level 3 (about $10USD). It gave me nice things: cool items and skins. It let me warp to places for free and do other things a lot more conveniently. Not bad for small money.
But then I started to notice how the game became more of a drag after I stopped paying money (early-mid lv 300 mark). If I didn't keep paying money, it would take days to reach the next part of the story. Essentially, you can either pay money / premium currency to enter high exp dungeons or get a bunch of items for upgrading. Or, you will have to accumulate your earnings from daily quests over days and days - even weeks - to upgrade your gear, wings or level up. Funny enough, you unlock high exp dungeons as a VIP. But you still need to pay a small premium fee every time you want enter. Seems a but unfair that I have to pay essentially 20cents every time I want to go to a dungeon.
One big problem is that the pace of levelling your character is really volatile. You either have available story quests which give you 5 levels (even in the late game). But then you are stuck in limbo where you have to grind 5 more levels to get the next story quests. The story quests are also short and easy to do. So, it becomes 10min of story quest then 10 hours of grinding alongside days of accepting daily quests. If Webzen could adjust this to make story quests more in number or longer and harder to do but offering more exp, then the next bigger problem I experienced which forced me to quit wouldn't be so bad.
Overtime I noticed that people who kept paying money to get items and exp dungeon entries were out powering me. Making it hard to farm exp cos they would PK me. And making it hard to get into competitive battling. Daily quests started to become a drag as I knew I wouldn't see any progression for a week in the story.
In sum, MU is a free game and I understand that webzen needs to make money somehow. But it started to lose the magic after it essentially kept asking for money to keep its "fun-ness". The pace really slowed down. Even if you are someone who is willing to pay $10-20 on a game every now and then, I'm not sure of I can recommend this game to you. However, if you have A LOT of patience, you may still find a long lasting enjoyment of this game.
As another suggestion, I would say make the high exp dungeons free to enter for the VIP users who have already paid money for their status. And then make those high exp dungeons available for non VIP but with a cost of 20 diamonds like you have now.
I hope I can enjoy this game some other time in future.

There is 4 hour Timezone difference. Most events start from 8pm which is 12pm in sydney.
If starts 10pm then it is 2am.
If starts 10pm then it is 2am.

Money hungry game
It is fair enough to pay a bit to enjoy a game. But this game will suck your wallet dry if you want to get anywhere. Its repetive and are extremely long to level if you dont daily top up. The control and movement of characters are horrible and would be hard to try and PvP properly. Played this for 3 weeks, top up $100 then quit because $100 will get you no where. Honestly have never been so disappointed in an MMORPG. Do not play this game if youre not heavily cashed up and have thousands to waste.
There is so much upgrading need to be done and most of the materials are extremely hard to farm. If there is a 0* star i would rate this game 0 star.
