Game

Game was great, then update made it worse than horrible…

Color Blind

I’ve played this game for years but the new update just ruined it for me. I am color blind and with the update I can no longer distinguish between my pieces and the opponent’s.

The ads are unbearable and interrupt game flow

Literally remove the ads or quit making them play any time you rematch. That is excessive and annoying.

Okay

The app is okay, the computer is challenging. Only problem is the app sometimes crashes randomly and whenever you want to replay a game it plays a long add.

Solid app. No premium option. Light adverts.

As far as I can tell this is a solid app that works well. There is no option to remove ads which is a problem for me. The ads are short though.

Pros: works well, solid app, ads are short and rather unobtrusive

Cons: ever present banner ad, no premium option to permanently remove ads

FAQ

What is Mühle and Mills?

Mühle and Mills is a digital adaptation of the classic strategy board game known by various names such as Nine Men's Morris, Mühle, and Merrills. It allows players to experience the traditional gameplay with authentic mechanics and an intuitive interface on their mobile device.

How do you play Mühle and Mills?

Each player starts with nine stones and takes turns placing them on a 24-spot board. The objective is to form a 'mill' (three stones in a row) to remove an opponent's stone. Once all stones are placed, players move their stones to adjacent spots to create new mills or block opponents. Players can jump their stones when reduced to three stones.

Is Mühle and Mills free to play?

The app is free to download and play, offering the core game experience without upfront cost. It includes in-app purchases, which may offer additional content or features for players who wish to enhance their experience.

What makes this game strategic?

The game's strategic depth comes from balancing offense and defense. Players must carefully consider where to place and move their stones to form mills, block opponents, and prevent their own stones from being captured. The ability to jump stones adds another layer of tactical decision-making.

Who is the target audience for Mühle and Mills?

This app is designed for players of all ages who enjoy classic board games and strategic thinking. It's suitable for both seasoned fans of Nine Men's Morris and newcomers looking for an accessible yet challenging game.
