I thought it would have been fixed by now … but NO
Disappointed with this app
Many of the buttons just don’t work. They only display half the word and the audio feedback only repeats part of the word. With the syllable slice, there is a huge glitch and the letters are all jumbled and it just doesn’t work at all. Waste of money

Update, three years later, I keep hoping the developers will make the changes to make this a really great app. PLEASE-you clearly put a lot of time and thought into it’s development-please make the changes that people are asking for!
I will start with the good. The app really is motivating to kids. It does he have the potential to be really be a fantastic resource, however I rarely use it because of a couple of issues. In some of the games(e.g. the outline game), after the child has touched the dots for the syllables one time, their turn is automatically over. Often kids need to repeat a word multiple times, before they get it right, and the app does not allow them to do that (unless there are settings somewhere that I have not found yet). Also, on the slicing game, the letters are too close together, and it's easy to slice the wrong segment (especially when one syllable is just the letter"i."
If these issues could be fixed, I would use it a ton!

I too was excited to see an app addressing syllables, but was not happy to see that it doesn’t even use correct rules for dividing into syllables, i.e., when there is a double letter you divide between the two. al-li-ga-tor VS. all-i-ga-tor. That’s a simple enough rule. Too bad.
So close...
This app has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. the biggest drawback is that the motivating praise/song is ultra laggy and won’t show up until you’re on the next stimulus card. It’s confusing for the kids and kind of annoying. Please fix! This could definitely be a 5-star game if it is!
