Drains battery, nags you to always be near the phone
The app is badly written in that it always stays in the background connected to the VivaLink patch and that way becomes biggest drain on the battery. (Yes, it does that even when Background App Refresh is disabled in Settings)
To add insult to the injury, app also nags with a popup that lost connection when you walk more than ten feet away from the phone. You don't like that? - then always carry the phone with you! Going to the restroom - take the phone. Want to drink glass of water? - don't forget to take the phone.
Turns out that's all for naught because the VivaLink patch stores data for a few days! And you can sync to the app once per day and that's just fine. Yes, the APP DOES NOT HAVE TO BE ALWAYS CONNECTED. Just close the app manually so won't see nag popups - then open it once a day and wait to see sync progress 100% (that takes a few minutes)
