Worthless
Installed app and it worked fine on android. Now it opens and connects then immediately closes out with no error message or anything. Open app again and same thing, uninstalled.

The hardware part is great but the app lets the whole system down, crashes constantly when used on my iPhone XS. I then have to close the app and restart and reconnect only for it to crash again.
It’s a real shame as it has so much potential but the constant crashing renders it useless.

Terrible product
PLX's mission statement is "to design the world's most innovative products and deliver a world class customer experience”
PLX Multigauge falls incredible short of that goal. Dealt with their support team for more than a month, trying different IOS devices and IOS releases. At best, I can get about three seconds of data before the app freezes (the controller continues to put out the correct voltage levels). Sent the unit back to PLX, and they reported that “it worked perfectly”. Apparently they don’t consider the software to be part of their product. An awful experience, time lost and money down the drain.

Crashes
App freezes or crashes within 30 seconds of starting the car. I purchased the analog gauge and it works fine.

Still works on my iPad but I have to rotate my head 90 degrees to read it. Please allow portrait mode before I have a crash.
Orientation
Please make it so that you can use the app when your phone is upright and not just horizontal, other than that apple CarPlay would be nice and the afr kit works great

Freezes
Tried multiple apple devices and always freezes. Support still hasn’t fixed, still haven’t been able to use device and had it for 7 months. Now just gonna wait and hopefully they do an update to app.

Updated my app and now it freezes up constantly.

Difficult to get to connect and once it does it’ll crash or lock up. Support stopped responding to emails. Waste of money so far.

App Crashes
Start the car. Open the app. Push connect. It connects and changes screens but once I tap any gauge it crashes.

I had a great wireless setup for wideband and boost, etc. now nothing works and nothing links. This app is trash!

Agree with prior review. I hate this new update. I use app while driving and it goes black after a few seconds of running. my AFR reading are way off and not reading like prior version. 🤦🏿♂️

With the latest release of the app we are able to get an awesome layout that I have really enjoyed by also being a Kiwi user. Seeing it have the same look gives it a great appeal when using the PLX apps. Really enjoying seeing multiple sensors on the one lay out.
Latest update ruined this app
With the addition of the SM-Pro the app was Re-written and from that I can see wasn’t QC’d much if any.
There is no keep alive in this version so get used to your screen going black in 30 seconds or so. This is a pain if you plan to use this app in any vehicle while driving.
The middle gauge stutters no matter what gauge you select (this is on an XS Max, no CPU is not an issue). The boost function is grossly off as in it registers 4-5 lbs of boost when there is 13-14 (yes all the vacuum lines are snug). Vacuum pressure seems fine.
If you get a phone call the app will freeze and hang up completely. The list goes on.
I really hope they correct these issues as I am out over $500 now on a pretty much useless set of products.

Doesn’t connect
Searches for several minutes, never connects. Able to connect to the device through other apps. I have tried closing all other apps manually and still no luck.
