Finally!
I finally found a math fluency app that is amazing!
Amazing! But, Missing one critical function.
I am 37 years old and have struggled with times tables my whole life. Probably some trauma tied to my dad yelling at me while doing flash cards and feeling terribly embarrassed in social situations. I used this for a month while working with my kids and I’m very confident with multiplication now! I was very disappointed with one missing feature, BUT the results of this app do t lie and it has given me a skill that has haunted me for years. I am very grateful! I times other apps and ended up getting the paid version of this one, here are some details that sets this app apart and what needs improved:
Pros:
- Emphasizes the problems you struggle with to really help you ingrain them. -don’t have to hit a “submit” button, it accepts the answer as soon as you type it which helps with speed but can occasionally be annoying if you miskey.
Cons:
-The flaw that I is an absolute shame for an app I spent money on: This app (why I paid for it) has a feature doesn’t allows you to select a specific set of times tables. BUT, It uses a weird matrix selection system that limits the options for what tables I want to practice. For example: I only want to practice my 6,7,8,9 and 12 times tables. There is no way to do it. It requires me to include the 10 and 11 times tables which are easy and I don’t want in there and then it automatically eliminates other ranges that I want kept in, like 9x3,4 or5. Just make a simple selection tool where I can tell it what ranges I want to practice. Correct this and it’s a 5 star app that is totally worth the money. . . As is, it’s still worth the money, just shy of 5 stars though. ;)

Missing critical function
Pros:
- emphasizes the problems you struggle with to really help you ingrain them.
-don’t have to hit a “submit” button, it accepts the answer as soon as you type it which helps with speed but can occasionally be annoying if you miskey.
The MAJOR flaw that I is an absolute shame for an app I spent money on:
This app’s “set practice tables” doesn’t allow you to select a specific set of times tables. It uses a weird matrix selection system that is absolutely useless and limits the options for what tables I want to practice. For example: I only want to practice my 6,7,8,9 and 12 times tables. There is no way to do it. It requires me to include the 10 and 11 times tables which are easy and I don’t want in there and then it automatically eliminates other ranges that I want kept in, like 9x3,4 or5. Just make a simple selection too where I can tell it what ranges I want to practice.
Correct this embarrassing mistake and it’s a 5 star app.

Response from developer
Thanks a lot for your detailed feedback. The selection is designed this way to support automatic progression and practicing both commutative variants (like 6×9 and 9×6) together. You can uncheck 10 and 11 on the left side of the Set practice tables page. I totally understand wanting more flexibility though, and I’ll keep your suggestion in mind for future updates!
Fun
Crazy fun I love it so much it’s so much easier than other math games
