CURED my depression!

This app has single hands in the sky created a wonderful rhythmic being deep within my core.

A phenomenal little app that is sort of like guitar hero and really allows for that deep learning of rhythm that every musician might explore. Wonderful!!!

Nice for practicing Rhythm!

This app is amazing for practicing hands coordination! To be even better, I suggest to put mute and solo bottom on each rhythm line.

Quality polyrhythm training

It may be a few years old, but it runs well on old and new tablets.
You can easily build up grooves then practice different elements, rearrange left and right hands, adjust volume of parts, mutes hits, accelerate tempo.
A really solid work out.
The UI lets you zoom in and, although not perfect, you can do most things within a couple of taps.

Nice trainer and sequencer

Great for experimenting, practicing and composing. A midi export feature could be really neat.

Wow!

This app is truly incredible. Thank you! Worth every penny, I can feel my sense of rhythm improving over time.

Great Learning Tool- with potential for music making

PROS:
* Tempo range from 4-512 !
* Tempo adjustment is very easy!
* Pattern can be up to 256 beats long!
* Add up to 16 parts/tracks
* Each part has its own notes/beats ratio
* Set levels for all parts
* Logical layout
* Cool rhythm training mode
* Good selection of metronome patterns

CONS:
* Workflow for adding a part is a bit tedious
* Included sounds are basic, no import
* Can't audition sounds from picker
* Can't reset to top of cycle, only pauses and resumes

Multirhythms is a fantastic learning/teaching tool. The extreme tempo range and pattern length lets you work in interesting ways.

However, limitations on workflow, lack of dynamics, and inability to customize sounds prevent it from becoming an even more powerful musical tool. (It would also be great to see it transmit MIDI clock and MIDI notes from all parts).

I truly hope that folks buy this app and support the developer. But I also hope the developer will continue to improve this good tool to make it great.

As cool as you imagine

Amazing.

Outstanding!

What a fantastic app. Great experience and very very useful. You can really train yourself really well and good. Helps a lot with the internalizing of the beats. I'd like to give it 6 stars if possible.

Excellent

Great app for getting your rhythm chops together, a must have for any musician !

Perfect for polyrhythms!

This app is great for training yourself to play polyrhythms.

Seems great but there's a bug or two

This is a fantastic app with great potential but it crashes whenever I try to "add a rhythm." It's really a shame cuz it is really awesome otherwise!!

Great for rhythm training!

As a professional musician I’ve been looking for a portable tool that trains my left and right hands to play complex rhythms simultaneously. While the app comes preprogrammed with a decent mix of standard rhythms, I love that I can program my own rhythms and instantly get feedback on where I’m rhythmically off. Whereas the iPad version is probably ideal due to a larger surface area, I haven’t had any problems with the iPhone version. I especially like that I can now practice on planes and trains without annoying other passengers! Highly recommended for all musicians.

Impressive sequencer!

The app comes with quite a few simple--and surprisingly authentic--drumbeats to show off what its sequencer can do, and wow, it can do a lot! We have quite few tunes with complex meters, but it was really easy to set them up in the metronome! By keeping everyone together, this timekeeper has been a real timesaver.

Best polyrhythms app by far

No other app came with all the polyrhythms I needed. It even supports polyrhythms with more than two rhythms!

Fantastic!

This is THE metronome app I've been waiting for!

Amazing for mastering opposing rhythms!

This app has made learning to play different rhythms in each hand so much faster! I'm a pianist and am using the app for passages where the left and right hand parts have separate complicated rhythms. It's incredibly helpful to be able to enter the rhythms into the app and hear how they sound together at the right tempo. I also find playing the trainer game until I don't need to look at the screen anymore a quick way to get a feel for a new rhythm if I'm not at my keyboard. I can see how this app could be really useful for a drummer (although I don't think you can use your feet with the trainer game). I may actually start using this as my go-to metronome since it seems really easy to create and save different beats. I had some fun practicing montunos over the included clave rhythms and Afro-Cuban drumset beats. Thank you!
