I love this app! The first of its kind. It has connected me to mums who share similar experiences and stories. The space feels safe to delve into how culture impacts motherhood. It has both lightness through the funny post and seriousness in discussion. You get to both laugh and learn. All black mums should join ❤️

Not what I thought it would be
It’s a lovely idea and concept but the reality is you don’t really connect with anyone on there. You make matches that don’t message back. You should also be able to see who likes your content. Wasn’t for me but hopefully the app makes improvements for those wanting to truly connect with others
Safe space
Honestly, the safe space I’ve ever come across as a black mother. Couldn’t recommend enough if you’re a first time mother or pregnant you definitely need this app as there’s loads of other black mothers not just across the UK but across the world on it it’s so easy to find a connection you just swipe and it connects you with a similar model with similar interest in your local area.

Great potential not quiet there just yet
I hate tearing things downs especially a blacked on thing but I have to be honest. It’s such a shame because I wanted to rate this app soooo much higher. When I first heard about this app I was so excited about it as I’m in my last trimester and wanted to find some friends on the same journey as me.
At first I absolutely loved it but soon realised it was quiet boring and slow paced. I loved that there were so many people on there that I could relate to but I found it very hard to connect. The chat part is the worst you don’t get notifications, you cannot delete or edit chats and the chats glitch which means you often send messages to the wrong people.
They have said for a couple of weeks now there is a new update coming soon so let’s see hopefully it changes the whole experience.
