Trail position incorrect
Just to let you know the app incorrectly shows the trail on the south approach to Manjimup. The correct course is along all the way to the south end of O’Connor St where it turns left at the corner with Brain St.

This app was awesome on the trail (E2E -July 25) Great offline GPS mapping tool and great topo. Great info on the route, towns and resupply options. Worked perfectly. Being able to tap on the map to see how far it was from my location was very handy.

What a great app. Highly recommended for any end-to-end journey. The first three days from Mundaring there are so many trail crossings, it’s great peace of mind to look down and see that you’re still on the blue line (and before going down any big hills!). Information and links were useful all along the trail. One feature suggestion: it would be nice if you could South align while centered for Southbound trips. Also it would be nice if “contact us” either displayed the email address or used the default mail client. I don’t have “Mail” downloaded and so I haven’t been able to send updates I would have otherwise sent.
Please please please tell me you’re working on a Bibbulmun Track App next? I’d buy that in a heartbeat. Thanks!

Oldies rock the Munda Biddi!
The MB has been on our bucket list for awhile, but we finally got to do it this week (April 2024)with the help of this tremendous app!
The gps location spot was our saviour, the blue dot put a smile on our faces whenever it popped up. We are in our 70’s and we had to adjust some of the designated trail to suit our cycling ability. We could always find the trail as the app is so well designed, we could move in and around the MB as we needed. We rode from Nannup, which also has a great app, to Albany in 10 days, bike packing, camping in the huts (loved the huts) and van parks (good for a shower and camp kitchen) which the app had recommended. The transport options mentioned on the app worked a treat, the shuttle drivers were on time and very obliging. The app also has useful information about sightseeing, where to buy food and how to get water. This is a 5 star app and we can thoroughly recommend it! Now for the Cape to Cape (yes we have that app too!)

The Munda Biddi app is awesome. Don't leave home without it.
Rode the whole Munda Biddi end to end using the marker signs and the app. Didn’t bother with the hard copy maps and it was fantastic.

Excellent app and maps - all the info you will ever need in an easy to use, logical app. Hope you get to replicate on trails around the world!
Munda Biddi app indispensable
Whilst the trail markers will generally keep you on track, inevitably they are sometimes too far apart, hidden or ambiguous, or you miss a turnoff through inattention. The app gives you instant confidence as to where you are. It got me back on track numerous times when I was lost for one reason or another. The information on distances and elevations, sections, towns and huts is also invaluable.

In 2022 May/ June . Made it so easy to see where you are going all the time . Great with the elevation profile as well . When your in the middle of nowhere you could always see exactly where you are and more importantly if you go off track ,which happened a few times by accident, you could find your way back easily. Great info about towns and easy access to history along the way. .

Cannot plan a route for start / stop stages
Trying to do the full trail this year and there is no way to easily find start and stop points even with paying for the full app.
We’re doing the trail in 40 to 60km increments and the planning has been woeful since this and trail forks are kinda the only options and the trail has been hidden from google maps
No issues with using it on the trail when already on it, but no luck finding it.

A must for the trail
Absolutely brilliant app, so much Info and the mapping and elevation function alone is superb. Used it daily to plan the day and check major climbs. The ability also to enable location services and locate yourself and give you live updates on distances to key points is 👌 well done!!
Routing needs to be updated
I noticed on the app that if you go from north to south, the towns and the huts are in the correct order as are the descriptions but if you go from south to north say for instance, Albany to Denmark, it’s mapped as Denmark Albany , which isn’t correct going from Albany to Denmark going south to north Albany is the finish not Denmark correct
I know what happened somebody just put south to north, but didn’t change the actual directions so it’s like they only rode it from north to south so they have no description going from south to north. It really needs to be changed so the people going from south to north have the correct description and don’t have to try to decipher what the author is talking about I think it’s a bit of a cheat that wasn’t done correctly.
The other thing I noticed is that if you look at mundarring to Jarrahdale it says 0km that really should say 0 to 105 km and the next one should say 105 to 178 km and so on I understand that they’re looking at it as those kilometers are the finish of that ride but it’s a little misleading and not helpful if you’re trying to judge distances without looking at the descriptions

Don’t leave without it
This app saved my life. I was chatting to a mate and we missed an important turn. It was hot and we needed water. Being able to see where you are off line is fantastic. We were able to see where we went wrong and found the hut. We topped up our water and kept going. Brilliant!

The best guide
We have just completed the Munda Biddi trail as this app was fantastic to have with us. We used it to check our location when we thought we had gone the wrong way. One of the most useful features while riding is the ability for the app to tell you how far it was to the next hut or town.
It contains heaps of information for planning your trip, and for preparing for your ride the next day.
The app will locate your current position on the map without cellular reception…so clever.
If you are riding the trail this app is a must have!

Worth getting
There are cheaper less informative options, but if you don’t mind the cost this is a must have. Reliably shows where you are regardless of mobile reception. Great for peace of mind & safety. A useful addition would be to be able to report a trail issue, e.g tree down, issue at a hut etc or at least tell you how to report a problem.

I have completed the Munda Biddi without this App and have just recently done a few more days with the App. It is so good, especially as my sense of direction is dreadful. It was a great help and made me feel very safe. Well done!!
