What's New in Murble

1.3.0

August 31, 2026

YOUR LIBRARY, YOUR WAY • Sort and filter from one View menu: newest, oldest, longest, by name, and filters you can combine. • Smart folders keep themselves up to date, from the filters you already use. • Select several notes at once to pin, move or delete them together. SEARCH THAT REACHES FURTHER • Search now looks inside summaries, tasks, speaker names and folder names, and each result says where it matched. MARK THE MOMENT • One tap while recording drops a marker. It lands in the transcript, ready to jump back to, and travels into your exports. ADD TO A RECORDING • A conversation that comes back can join the note it belongs to instead of becoming a second one. Existing transcript, markers and speaker labels keep their place. CLEARER CONVERSATIONS • Speaker labels now carry into summaries, reports and chat, with cleaner handling of short noises and speaker changes. WHILE YOU WAIT • A Live Activity shows transcription and summary progress on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. ON iPAD • Drag notes onto a folder, and use keyboard shortcuts for recording, search and the detail tabs. SYNC AND STORAGE • Choose whether iCloud sync carries your recordings or only the notes, and see exactly what is taking space in the new Storage screen.

Wanted to love it

Barely compatible with iOS notepad

Simple, but too limited for what it could be
Murble is very simple and easy to use, which is a positive. However, that simplicity also exposes some important limitations that significantly reduce its usefulness.
One of the biggest problems is that there doesn't appear to be a way to take all the text notes within the same folder/category and combine them into a single document. You have to deal with the notes individually. If the purpose is to build a collection of notes over time—especially a diary, journal, ideas, or a specific project—being able to select a folder and export everything together as one PDF, TXT, or other document would be extremely useful.
It would also be very useful if every note automatically displayed the date and exact time it was recorded as part of the note itself. That would make the app much more useful for keeping a chronological diary or personal record.
The organization features also need to go much further. The app should be able to understand the context of what you are saying and automatically determine where information belongs, without requiring the user to manually organize everything. For example:
“I need to buy eggs and butter” → Shopping
“I had an idea for my business…” → Business Ideas
“Tomorrow I need to call the supplier” → Work / To-Do
“Today I weighed X and exercised for 40 minutes” → Diary / Health
That kind of automatic organization is what would make an AI voice-note app genuinely different from simply dictating into Apple's Notes app.
At the moment, I don't see enough functionality to justify paying for it. The basic experience still feels too close to dictating text into the iOS Notes app, rather than having an AI assistant that actually understands, organizes, and maintains the information for you.
Murble has a good foundation, but it needs significantly better automatic organization, chronological diary functionality, and bulk export of entire folders/collections before it becomes truly useful as a long-term personal information system.
