The Society receives the files that even the Yard cannot close. You are its newest candidate. Every case begins with a floor plan, a handful of people and their statements. Each row and each column contains exactly one figure. The murderer is whoever was alone in a room with the victim. Every statement is true. Every case has a solution, and the cards prove it. Everything you need to find it is right in front of you. No guessing. No clock. No luck. Just deduction. HOW TO PLAY • Read the statements. Each card reveals something about where a person was standing. • Reconstruct the scene. Place the figures, eliminate what is impossible and keep track of what remains open. • Ask the Inspector. If you get stuck, three levels of hints are available – each a little more explicit, always based on your own board. • Make your accusation. The Society does not ask for suspicion. It asks for proof.
