No volume
I wanted to play this game & couldn’t. There is no volume & nowhere in the game to adjust the settings. Without volume, you can’t play it. I have an iPhone 13. The app said it was compatible with my phone but it’s not. Very disappointed.
Fun AR, but doesn’t really work
It was pretty cool to be able to take a picture with detective Murdoch, but the game keeps glitching and the items in the AR disappear. Sometimes, Murdoch randomly stop talking and it just wouldn’t let me play. It’s really too bad, it has a lot of potential and I am awaiting a bug-fixing update.
Also, I signed up for the mailing list and never even got an update when the game was released, so for more people to play I would recommend sending an email.

Not working
I was really looking forward to this however it does not work on my iPad. On my iPhone it starts to work and then cuts out. I hope they fix this.
AR Works but no audio
No sound in this game on an iPhone 12. Doesn’t seem to be s menu where you can adjust volume of dialog either.

Has potential
The game has potential to be really fun, but I can’t get any sound so it’s you see Murdoch talking but have no idea what to do.. and when you click on the hat it gives you info but won’t advance to the next step

Great start could use some polish on AR components
I have played the free case. I find that the AR elements can get a bit jumpy and feel very far away. It would be ideal if we could tweak the playing plane field dimensions to help with distance (it keeps trying to put a coat rack inside a real world chair.) That actual case was great and I enjoyed the elements of clues and questions. I will be purchasing the next case so that the development team can hopefully keep building improvements and more cases.

People looking for ‘airplane’ there is no airplane that’s not what they mean
Haven’t started playing the game yet, just got it but I was confused at first when it said plane too. It means plane as in flat surface in this case it shows up as like a yellow puddle almost. Now that I know what it means it’s hilarious to see all the comments of people looking for airplanes. But I get the confusion poor choice of words on their part.

Murdoch Mysteries Crime Nights
Not so much a review because I think the app is still in development. They need to fix a lot of glitches and I have discovered that if you leave the app without solving the crime, you can’t resume where you left off? Maybe I have that wrong but it has definitely prevented me from continuing to use it. Needs a lot of work - I hope they improve it in future versions.

As a big fan of Murdoch Mysteries, this is a fun game to have. I’ve solved all 3 mysteries, so hoping that there will be more added in the future.

I love the show so much don’t get me wrong, but this game needs to be more interactive. It gives a little too much help and not enough freedom. I do absolutely love the fact that MURDOCH can be standing in my bedroom! I appreciate you & am a huge fan Yannik Bisson🙃
Good Idea - Terrible Execution
Setting up the AR screen doesn’t work the way it’s illustrated in the video. Keeps changing to whatever the camera is pointed at, even after the “floor” is selected. Trying to place Murdoch is equally frustrating as all I get are his shoes and they seem to move around on the ever changing floor. Total frustration!

Unable to get past opening screen
App opened to screen, "point camera at floor, move left to right, wait for plane to appear". Apparently inaccurate or incomplete instructions because nothing happened. Trying to "report a problem" seemed to lead to logging in with Apple ID, getting a link to dev's website, and getting to see a privacy policy. Whoopee!

Even though I have solved all 3 mysteries I am still a trainee?
I love the game, but even though I have solved it in the time for both Constable and Detective, it still has me as trainee. There is a fault with one of the addresses as well. There needs to be more mysteries too

Does nothing, move ipad back and forth, nothing happens, no camera view, no airplane.
I was hoping it would be good
I really was looking forward to this. The AR feature mostly does not work and makes it a frustrating games. It would have been fun if it just played as a regular game without that. Very disappointing and I’m a long time fan of the Murdoch Mystery show.
