Murmur Flow

Your voice. Your words. Record a reply, note or first draft in Murmur Flow. Review the transcript and cleanup, then tap Copy and paste into Mail, Messages, Notes or your other app. WHY MURMUR FLOW - On-device transcription and cleanup, without a product account or tracking. - Live transcription while you speak with local engines. - Optional online transcription and polishing with your own provider settings. - Cleanup that helps remove filler words and tidy punctuation. - A personal dictionary for names, jargon and preferred spellings. - Snippets for text you repeat. - Writing styles, saved History, Notes and folders. - Search that also matches related words, worked out on your device. - Make a doc: turn the notes you are looking at into a summary or an action list. VOICE ON IPHONE AND IPAD Voice recording happens in the main app. For voice input in other apps, enable the optional Murmur keyboard and Full Access for its local handoff. Start a five-minute voice session in Murmur, return to your other app, then tap Record and Finish in the keyboard. Finished words go into the original input; a changed input requires a tap. Typing works without Full Access. Password fields and apps that block custom keyboards are not supported. LOCAL BY DEFAULT Download the required models before using local engines offline. Model and language availability depend on your device. Optional API transcription sends audio directly to the speech endpoint you configure after recording. Optional API polishing sends text plus dictionary and style instructions to your chosen polishing endpoint. Each online stage is a separate choice, uses your own account and may incur provider fees. Neither goes through a Murmur server. Review important text before you send it. Speech recognition and cleanup can make mistakes. Requires iOS 26 or later.
