Don’t make a mistake
I was excited to find out if there was an app that would finally put a audio book and music from my iPhone together but this one doesn’t do it if you use Audible you cant find anyway of getting into the app and playing the audio book. that’s basically yet so that causes issue.
I think it’s intended to use with Audiobooks from Apple but I haven’t gotten that far

I have enjoyed for a long time
I have been enjoying this app for a long time. YouTube changed policy which was not the fault of this developer. I use it to play audiobooks I have downloaded through iTunes. iTunes does not remember playback position of mp3 audiobooks. This app does. All you have to do is create a playlist in your music app and add that playlist to this app. You can also play music behind your narrator if you like.
Just got my husband to download and pay for it because it has been a blessing for me.

The only thing I don’t like is that it will start over when finished. I am using this to play portions of the Bible and would prefer it to stop at the end instead of starting over.

Throws errors
This app seems to have a bug that stops it from functioning.

its a great idea but it doesnt work
maybe i am doing smth wrong. but i tried to do it about 10 times today and it didn't work. i uploaded audiobook files which i downloaded from audibles to itunes file sharing, even used lightening cable - but they didnt apprear on my iphone. there is also no way to get support. page simply doesnt work.
i managed to add 1 podcast to itunes playlist and i can play on MUS+audiobooks with itunes music on the background. but how to be able to see audiobooks in "iTunes file sharing" on the phone? if this would work it would be amazing

It Works!!
This has to be THE ONLY app that plays your music along with your audiobooks. Other apps (and not many) will accidentally do this and those don't work well either.
This is great because you can also control the volume of your music that is separate from the volume of whatever audiobook app you're using.
Another reviewer stated they use a podcasts app along with this app. I listen to the iBooks app and this one at the same time and it works great.
Hopefully I'm not speaking too soon since I just bought it and hasn't used it long enough to notice any bugs but it still deserves 5 stars for being probably THE ONLY app that does this and works right!

Amazing. Simply amazing. Changed my life: books, podcasts and the like are SO MUCH BETTER with music alongside them.
I use the app differently from instructed though: play music through your app (playlists of music easier to create than playlists of audiobooks) and then play my audiobook / podcast / radio show via a specialist app (e.g. audible, The Economist, NPR, ...). This has the additional benefit that the native pause / volume control stops the audiobook not the music.

It works, with some large bugs.
The audiobook playback skips every time the music track changes, causing a word or two to be cut out every few minutes. The app doesn't pause via the lock screen or remote, and the volume controls are still buggy and difficult to use at low volumes. Also, the playback speed resets at the end of each audiobook track, so I need to fix it periodically.

Works with podcasts
I don't listen to audiobooks but I do listen to podcasts and this app did allow me to listen to podcasts via the Downcast app while listening to music via the apple music app.
This will be great for long runs.
The only problem is that the music volume is very difficult to decrease. The first 10% of the music volume slider will allow you to play the music softly, but the remaining 90% of the volume slider blasts the music too loud.
Please fix the music volume slider so it works in a linear fashion. Thanks.
