What's New in Muscle

2.2.0

August 21, 2026

Important fix - Before 9am the date was off by one day, so the record screen opened the previous day and anything logged then was saved under the wrong date New - Create an icon for a custom exercise. Describe the movement and it is drawn in the same style as the built-in icons - Icons other people made are available too, sorted by how often they are used. Long-press to report one - The rest timer now sits at the bottom left of the record screen. Tap it and 1:00, 1:30, 2:00 and 3:00 fan out — one more tap starts it - Sets done with no added weight are recorded as bodyweight - Settings moved to its own tab, where you can turn the rest timer off and set its length - Add a workout for an earlier day straight from the calendar - Share cards can include the run you did on the same day Improved - Search in the exercise picker, and your most-used exercises now come from your actual records - "This month" on Home is split into strength and running - Bigger targets on the calendar's month arrows, and tap the month name to jump back to today Fixed - Custom exercises never appeared in the exercise list, their icons could not be picked, and they could not be edited afterwards - The keyboard could not be dismissed on some screens - Changing your coach in Settings had no effect - Stopping a short run discarded it even when you chose to continue - Switching to Running while the rest timer was counting made it disappear with no way to stop it - "Last time" showed your all-time best instead of your previous session - The number of recorded days was higher than it should be

Excellent

This app is absolutely amazing. I’ve tried many different workout tracking apps before, but none have been as easy to use or as motivating as this one. The design is clean and intuitive, making it stress-free to log workouts even in the middle of training. Registering exercises and reviewing past records is smooth, and being able to see my progress clearly through numbers and graphs is incredibly satisfying. The customization options for training plans are also excellent — I can easily adjust them to fit my goals and fitness level. Whether you’re just starting out or have been training for years, I can wholeheartedly recommend this app to anyone serious about fitness. I truly appreciate the developers for creating such a thoughtful and high-quality app. I’ll definitely keep using it for a long time to come.
