User reviews

Very neat.

This app is very useful for all my pictures of artworks I’ve taken from visiting museums! I also like the new interactive wordle feature especially since the word length changes every day, it makes it more challenging and fun! Can’t wait to see more of this app.

Insane Pricing

This app honestly has everything I want from an art tracker, and I’ve been looking for a good one for a long time. The problem is, the pricing is INSANE. There is no free option and even the lowest tier is crazy over budget. I understand that running AI features is expensive, but allowing a user to skip that part of the experience and just auto enter data would go a long way toward making me want to redownload this.

Response from developer

Hi, thank you for writing this, and for the kind words about the app. You're right, and your review helped shape our next update: it adds a manual option. You can log every artwork yourself, with no AI and no subscription, for a single one-time purchase that's yours for good. It's on its way to the App Store now. We'd love to have you back when it lands, and if anything still feels off, please reach out through the app or email us at museumlog.app@gmail.com. Thank you again for the honest feedback.

So buggy and core feature is so expensive

The app seems very buggy where the map can’t even drag around. The real feature I was looking for in the app is AI recognize artwork title and it’s a hard paywall. So expensive

Response from developer

Hi, sorry about the experience. The map not being draggable is not how it should work, and we’re looking into the issue. We also hear you on the pricing for artwork recognition. AI recognition has ongoing API costs, but we’re actively looking at ways to make it more accessible without putting such a large barrier in front of the core experience. We will also be trying to make manual logging an easier experience for all free users of Museum Log. Thanks for taking the time to flag both issues, this feedback genuinely helps us improve Museum Log.
