About

Point your camera at a mushroom and find out what it is, in seconds. MushLens uses AI image recognition to identify wild mushrooms from a single photo. It then tells you what actually matters: how confident the match is, whether the species is edible or toxic, and which dangerous look-alikes you need to rule out. HOW IT WORKS 1. Take a photo, or choose one from your photo library. 2. MushLens analyses the cap, gills, stem and surroundings. 3. You get the most likely species, a confidence score and up to three other possible species. EVERY IDENTIFICATION INCLUDES • Common and scientific name • A confidence score, so you know how sure the match is • A clear edibility label: edible, inedible, poisonous, deadly or unknown • Toxicity warnings in plain language • Dangerous look-alikes, named by species • Key identifying features to check for yourself • Typical habitat and season BUILT FOR FORAGERS AND NATURE LOVERS Mushroom field guide An illustrated encyclopedia of common species. Each one has photos, identifying features, habitat, season and the look-alikes that catch people out. The home screen shows what is in season right now. Your collection Save any find with its photo and your own notes. Filter your finds by edibility and look back at them whenever you like. Remember where you found it If you allow location access, each saved find keeps the spot where you found it, so you can return to the same patch next season. Your locations are private and never shared. Learn Short, practical guides to identification basics, the golden rules of edibility, and foraging safely and responsibly. SAFETY FIRST: PLEASE READ MushLens gives you a suggestion, not a verdict. AI can be wrong, and it can be wrong with confidence. Several deadly species look almost identical to prized edible ones. The differences often come down to things a photo cannot show: spore print colour, the base of the stem below ground, smell, or how the cut flesh changes colour. Never eat a wild mushroom based on this app alone. Always confirm with a qualified expert in your area. MushLens is made for learning and reference, and every result carries this warning for a reason. YOUR PRIVACY • Start scanning straight away, with no account • Sign in only when you want to save a find: with Apple, Google or email • Photos you do not save are deleted from our servers after the analysis • Location is used only if you allow it, and never in the background • No ads, and your data is never sold • Delete your history, your data or your whole account at any time, inside the app Free to use, with no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. Happy foraging, and stay safe out there.
