Perfect for primer level pre-readers, but can only save 5 learner profiles to track progress
I am really impressed with this app and use it with 4-7 year olds in my studio music lab. It’s perfect for that age group! However, I thought I could have more than 5 learner profiles after purchasing full version, but it still only gives me 5. I’ve emailed and fb messaged the developer with no response yet. So for that reason I am only giving 4 stars. (Generategy, please contact me if you see this review!)

This looks like a very cool app. However, the sound doesn't work for the games. :/
More pedagogy
I'm a piano teacher looking for apps to help supplement note reading and ear training. I like the pitch matching section of this app. The "make a song" section was not good because you can only place notes on lines (skipping the spaces), and yet what you hear are 2nds. So it would be incongruous with what little musicians already know: that notes moving up in 2nds are space-line-space or vice versa. Ill keep trying this app, but it seems only lightly educational.

Fantastic for music ed
I'm an elementary music teacher, and use this as a supplement for my 1st grade classes about every other week or so. They are into competing against each other to see which class can get the highest level, and all the kids participate to help the one who is at the iPad get the right answers. They really cheer when they unlock a new instrument or prize! The pedagogy is sound, and simple, yet involved enough that the kids have to work to train their ears. Recreating melodies from the radio really gives their listening skills a workout.
By the way, it is completely worth it to get the Pro version; I upgraded soon after I downloaded this one. Hope someone will buy the Pro, and put a review there soon (I'm sure you will agree how good it is), because the Pro version isn't getting any reviews yet. No, not an employee, just a very satisfied customer!
