best equalizer
Never seen this much clarity while playing any music with this player. Bass, mids, high end all are excellent.
Fantastic music app
Love it - five stars and highly recommended. Excellent sound quality. Intuitive navigation and loads quickly. So far no crashes and everything works great. Appreciate that there are no ads. Super cool playback visual. Can confirm it sounds much better than the stock player - love the eq also!

Sound effects are much better

External Storage - No network or USB
Unfortunately only radius external storage is supported. Wish I could connect to my network Files and play them directly without the need to download on my iPhone/iPad
Impressive sound but…
The equalizer is impressive unlike those of many IOS apps’ equalizers that borders to bland and ordinary. However, I think the surround can still be improved by having more control and adjustments. A sleep timer is also suggested as well as fader between songs or gapless music. Overall I’m very satisfied.

I purchased several in-app options to play hi-res audio only to find app after carefully reading its description it will not support my iOS compliant DAC.
Imagine my annoyance and disappointment when I got a ‘friendly’ pop up saying “No, no, no! No hi-res for you! You don’t have one of our proprietary DACs, so get lost!”. Yep this app had just fleeced me with what I can only assume are developer imposed restrictions. Nice!
Not happy. This should be stated at the very top of the App’s description. If it is in the text it’s been well hidden.
Now I’m going to try and get a refund because this app is not what it pretends to be and I can’t afford to be funding a developer that produces this kind of bait and switch style software.

It’s bad
High res FLACs do not sound any better than apple’s AAC files. But let’s say this is subjective. Now what is not subjective:
- despite paying for high res extension I am getting stupid popups about buying the DAC this app was designed for. I don’t care about your DAC, I have my own dragonfly red. Please get rid of this popup message.
- interface is dated,
- No way TO CONTROL VOLUME FROM APPLE WATCH. Whaaat?
- No option for downloading FLACs over wifi.
I wish I never spend any money on this app. Where is the refund button?

App doesn't work and can't contact them!!
I paid £3.99 to play 24bit/192kHz flac files but the app doesn't play them. I have an extarnal lightning dac to listen 24bit/192kHz but the app outputs only 48kHz. I contacted them but the email won't go because the address doesn't exist!!! I want refund!!!
Needs a “Dark mode” or theme
App really needs a Dark Mode/Theme.

Great player especially when paired with apple watch!
So if you, like me were annoyed when apple took out the ability to change tracks and browse your own downloaded music library with watch OS4 - then grab this app.
From the watch using this app you can browse your own entire music collection on your phone and play it from there. Lots of nice eq settings etc.
Thanks developers for this app! If only apple would put that functionality back in.

hell yes. I couldn't figure out why my Bose headphones were garbage. Now I understand that it was a problem with crap music files. I'm relieved to finally hear non-muffled music with NePlayer. thanks!
