Great remote for Kodi
I’ve been using this app to play my music collection via Kodi/Intel Nuc, connected to my AVR. The app works great on both iPhone and iPad. A few suggestions for future updates: there’s no stop button on the iPad app, only on iPhone. It would be good to be able to select how many albums I can see in recent music. It would also be good to be able to select the background colour, for example to change the standard yellow/brown into a more neutral grey/black/white. Very well done so far.

Great app
Still here using Kodi! Love this app as I can control my entire music collection from my phone without turning on the projector. Nothing in the cloud or any of that nonsense.
A lot of thought out into this. Siri integration would be a nice upgrade for sure though.

Great app for Kodi music without the need for screen
I was looking for something like this few years back without much success. I have good surround system with large speakers in my home theatre. Every time I wanted to play something from my music collection using this system I had to fire up projector in order to navigate Kodi. I tried many different remote apps for Kodi but non of them offered music navigation without looking at the screen. Why do I need big screen if I’m looking at phone screen when all I want is to play music only.
This app does just that. Great fast navigation using Kodi database. Browsing by folders or artist with lyrics on the phone screen. No need to turn TV or projector on. Full featured Pro version is not that expensive. Great job.

Fantastic App!
I’ve been using this Music Remote for Kodi for quite a while and absolutely love it. Every time I have a music listening session I use it to create play lists ‘on the fly’ (in real time).
Being able to search and find great songs and albums while listening to music (without interrupting the current song or music video) is very nice.
I can’t believe how easy this is to use app and how much it’s changed the way I listen to my great collection of albums and music videos (mostly concerts in HD video and 5.1 surround).

Beyond slick.
After spending 2 weekends getting all my cd’s ripped to my NAS server, the final step was to add the NAS share to Kodi. I discovered this app while looking for info on how to set up lyrics, and was blown away. This beats the crap out of navigating my immense music library using the remote for my firetv cube that I have my Kodi install on. It’s very well thought out, and pretty simple to set up.
The feature set is deep and thus far it seems pretty solid. It even has a shortcuts feature to switch between multiple Kodi servers (and we have two of them). Very impressed!

Brilliant Kodi controller aimed at music lovers
If you have a large music collection then you absolutely need this app. Clearly the author understands the challenges of navigating and organising music, as opposed to most other remote controls which are aimed at video. Rock solid and full of nice touches, particularly in managing the list of tracks you want to currently listen to - great for cueing up a playlist for a music listening session that you can easily edit as the mood takes you.

You need to control your music library in Kodi, then this is the app.
Does everything it says it does and does it well. High customizable. Support is excellent, the developer stands behind his product and provides responsive and professional support.

Just the music!
XMBC/Kodi tries to do it all, muddling the interface. This app focuses on the music. Love the cached library, ease of queuing, but most of all the widget for super quick control of Kodi. Two suggestions (sorry :-) first: tap & hold an album etc to get an add to queue shortcut, second: shuffle albums (tracks in albums are in order). The iPad app really shines with a view of whatever I want. Like a list of Albums and then Artists all at the same time. Usually I can't make up my mind and go back and forth. No more. Also pretty nice artist info feature-- can read about artists from multiple sources

This app does everything I want it to for playing music in Kodi. One wish: that it would ignore "the" in artist names so, for example, The Beatles aren't sorted after Steely Dan.
Finally a Kodi remote just for music!

Marcus continues to enhance his app adding improvements to the functionality and user interface. This app provides an incredible user experience with Kodi as a music player. For those new to it Kodi is an outstanding music player playing all formats and HD resolutions. Kodi Music Remote provides the best access to a music collection that is unsurpassed by any music app I have seen. Marcus is a dream developer. Taking user feedback and consistently building feature requests in the app. My favorite is a shortcut function added so I can control the server easily without going into the settings. And now allows an easy switch from server to server.
I can't stress enough the outstanding combination Kodi and the Kodi Music Remote make for a music playback system. Just the best!

This update adds terrific new functionality that Marcus received from users. His attention to detail and user wants is the best. This app is near perfect. This makes for an outstanding music client better then anything else.

I use XBMC as a client on my hifi. Laptop connected via USB to a DAC to play hires music. Controlling this in a nice way without all the other xbmc aspects interfering with my experience was a desire of mine. Found this remote and was just what I wanted. Started with the free version but them immediately bought the Pro. For $1.99 was worth it just to support the developer. Plus it's totally worth it.
Developer seems responsive from what I can tell adding features and bug fixes. No problems here. Set up easy and fast. Works perfectly. The Pro version has one feature that for me makes it worth the price. The ability to initiate a library scan. I use a NAS for my music and often update it. This way right from the remote I can do this. Great.
I had used itunes remote with iTunes. But iTunes doesn't play flac files. Xbmc plays everything. Very happy. If you want a music remote get this.
To the developer. Not crazy about the colors you use. Be great if they could be changed. Also if I could do an album view that be nice. Right now it appears artist and genre on pro are my choices.

In love with an app..
This app was made with absolute love, you can tell. Markus has tamed my huge music library with this app. Unlike ever before, I can now play my favorite music and even music I haven't plaid in years SIMPLY because it's finally so accessible! Some of the best money I have spent in all my years on the App Store.

1. User changeable background within the app.
2. Karaoke. Please consider letting us control our karaoke libraries as well. I understand that 16.x doesn't support karaoke, but many of us are still on 15.x simply because we love our karaoke too much to upgrade.

Worth every penny
Good layout. Simple yet does everything. I only wish that in the future, the background color can be changed.

This is perfect for my music library. Got one button on my Harmony to turn the Kodi and Amp on, unlock my iPad and this is already open and waiting to navigate. No need to burn my plasma now!
Great simple to use App for Kodi
I love the features and the glitch free way it interacts with Kodi on my pc. Server control (sleep, shutdown etc) work well. Id like to see the ability to create and edit and save playlists in kodi using thismapp.

Do you use XBMC for music? Forget costly remote controls, this is cheaper and FAR better. Responsive author and features still being added. Amazing app.
