Clean easy to use…still great
Love this app.
DAW of Choice Since Release
I have been using the app since it first appeared, and have it on both my iPhone and my iPad.
I have purchased all of the instrument packs over the years, and this has given me a solid, portable foundation from which to compose.
Whether using the phone to just get something down as inspiration strikes, or the iPad, when away from home, being able to send my work between the two devices is a breeze.
With the wide array of effects, from global, to track level, and effect send capabilities, this software has made it hard for me to move to anything else, due to the simple, intuitive interface.
That simplicity comes with a lot of power, including the ability to record or import your own samples, and map them across your own virtual instruments.
Real-time and step time entry, from then on-screen, sizable keyboard or an attached MIDI keyboard, makes this the perfect solution for me, and I have used this setup for many years now.
Its interface invites experimentation, and supports creativity in an intuitive way.
There is a limited function, free version, which is how I started, before falling in love with this app.

This app needs work and it should have been done years ago
No ability to inject vibrato, sooooo important and what about tremelo? No Search capabilities. I have about 5000 song files and I cant locate what I am looking for by typing in a search word, have to scroll through the whole darn list of song projects. The program loses its settings. You select 1/8th quantitization and next you know it has switched to 1 quarter quantitization. You have to select your tracks using a finger press and hold. Why no have Selectable track option? And for all tracks a checkmark of All tracks - for select, copy, paste.

It’s pretty amazing and PLS respond
I bought this app about six months ago and it is pretty cool. It comes with demos and lots of instruments that has more of a variety than garage band, you can add special effects and even make your own instruments. But one problem. When I try to name my sounds it kicks me out of the app. Could you fix that ? In other stuff, I recommend this app to everyone. 😁😀😊😋🤩

If they ever update this I will change my review
I’ve had this app since release. Was fabulous and now NO SUPPORT AT ALL! I paid for the app and all the in apps and now no support or anything. I will change review when the app is usable again. Was one of my faves but now not usable on iOS 13. Please update and don’t let all your supporters be left out in the cold. Please update this app my goodness.

Deberían mejorar más la app
Es una aplicación muy buena. Doy 4 estrellas… Aunque deberían mejorar algunas cosas por ejemplo usar el pich en el teclado ya que no te deja vibrar los sonidos en el teclado. Y mejorar usar más ritmos en el track con samples ya que solo permiten usar un ritmo!
Y combinar sonidos etc. debe tener actualizaciones. Ya que mucha gente lo usan.

Awesome app!
I’ve used this app for 8 years now and I think it’s better than garageband! The fact you can make your own instruments makes it even better!

Yeah, it may have some technical flaws and some purchases to make, but it was an amazing app! the instruments are better and has more variety than garage band. I think everyone should get this.

Fantastic
There are a few issues actually getting the audio file off the app and onto your PC, but generally great.
Daw is Awe
I use Cubase and Cubasis both. This DAW, also from the makers of Cubase, is amazing and loads of fun. Just right for the novice. It’s loaded. I recommend it.
Like this game but wait
I was cresting the song while I’m working, when I press undo button, it kicked me out and I need to do it again.
Stopped improving
Last update was 4 years ago. That says all I or you need to know about this once fine app.

What was the point of Steinberg buying this app? There doesn’t seem to be a benefit whatsoever as far as this app goes.

Don’t sleep on this app
This is in my opinion the best mobile daw. I hope it continues to be available for us to download for a lifetime because this app works well with Cubase 3. Let’s keep it up and running.
Can’t upload song
I’ve made three songs in this app. It’s great except for the fact that you can’t save your songs unto apple files or anywhere outside of the app.
Great app
Great app, thanks, but why cannot I zoom out keyboard to a very tiny / narrow keys, giving me all 8 octaves as BEFORE , on iOS 17 ? It zooms out in somewhat limited manner, for 2-3 octaves.
Good app for my uses
Used since 2011 it’s awesome leaves a little to be desired in the year 2025 in regards only to the samples but a)that is to be expected when the sample library is as small as it is because it has to fit on a phone and b) it has remained the app that I bought all those years ago. It is great for getting something from your head into some form of audio while you are on the go and proof of concept when you can’t pick up a guitar, drum kit, piano, you get the idea. I’m not a pro by any means I just write for my own pleasure. My issue is most of you are going to have access to garage band and probably don’t care admittedly but this is what I have used and it is as described on the carton.
