About
Musical Intervals
Learn, recognize, and master musical intervals using the traditional conservatory training method.
Musical Intervals is an educational app designed for music students, instrumentalists, singers, teachers, and anyone who wants to build a solid understanding of musical intervals.
Unlike many ear training apps, Musical Intervals combines music reading, music theory, and listening exercises into a complete learning experience.
Train Like in a Conservatory
The app recreates the classic exercise traditionally used in conservatory music theory classes and examinations.
A first note appears on the staff, followed by a second note. Your task is to identify the interval between the two notes, just as you would during a real music theory lesson.
The notes are generated randomly, making every exercise different from the previous one and providing virtually unlimited combinations for effective and engaging practice.
After answering, you can listen to the interval played on the piano to strengthen the connection between music reading and ear training.
Next, the app asks you to identify the inversion of the interval. Once you have answered, you can listen to the corresponding sound to reinforce your learning.
This approach naturally develops both theoretical knowledge and a well-trained musical ear.
